Talking about my experience i have got all my withdraws and deposit instantly there without any single issue. It is true to never trust one exchanger so better to trade in different exchanger but choices are limited for altcoin trading if we search other than poloniex and bittrex.

I have read other threads about Poloniex withdrawal delay or some other issues, but I tihink no need to worry about it because this issues happen with all exchanges, from other side a big exchange like Poloniex might be targeted from many hackers groups, because millions of Dollars are stored in their wallets, thus it is better to avoid storing your Bitcoin in your Poloniex wallet.

The only issues I ever had with Poloniex were some very small delays - less than 30 minutes - which I cannot really count as issues.
However, with the rise of concerns and possible problems here and there, I withdrew some more of my money from there.
And that's because with online services you can never be sure. (I do like Poloniex. But it's still an online service.)

My last transactions made with Polo last week if Im not mistaken, everything went smoothly. It's bitcoin deposit, bitcoin withdrawals and altcoin transfer from other exchange. So I have balance their on 3 cryptos.

Maybe it's only on on a certain alts? And I agree that somehow it's about IP issues like stated above. Well as far as trollbox is concern, no such massive queries about the OP's concern.

I do.

My account  just got hacked there. Sure I wasn't holding any coins or using 2FA at that moment but it still worries me how they figured out my password.

I will stay away from all the exchanges unless there is a very well buy/sell opportunity.

Even though I have not started trading as I am still learning the skill part of this venture, factors like this tends to make one discouraged in even giving it a push to give a trial in the sense that the exchange sites are not even investing enough to protect investors fund from hackers imagine my account compromised and I get to suffer the loss alone which is not a fault of mine but someone who is in a position to do something about it and even charge me for transactions I carried out on their platform. If that is not happening, the support is no where to be found at the momentthey just continue stalling and wasting precious time away...

Op, do you use VPN service?

I am asking because people who previously had problem with withdrawals reported that is was caused by their VPN that was blacklisted for abuse everywhere.
So if you use some kind of proxy, turn it off, and see if that change something.
so its possible to make some review coming from polo if we are using vpn, never heard about this mate but thanks im not using any vpn that;s why i dont have any problem from polo my transaction is running smoothly.

i am not worried about poloniex and i think poloniex support will always give late respond if someone send a ticket because i have this experience but not for withdraw.

for withdraw, i am not have any bad experience and i hope i don't have in the future. maybe they've got a maintaince so the request for deposit and withdraw is getting slowly than usually.

i think you don't have anything to worry about, they are still working fine from what i am seeing. but if you are not satisfied you should do what i did a long time ago and leave it behind and move on to another good exchange service.

bittrex is just as good, c-cex is also good but smaller, also there are btc-e and kraken but they have far less coins.
same here mate don't have any issue from this exchange i keep using it because of good volume and a fast pace trade unlike smaller trading exchange but if you are having issue using it and keep experiencing same thing and make you inconvenient i think you needed to consider trex as an option too avoiding you to delay your trade because i know how it feels when yobit did it to me not knowing that waves wallet got issue with it making me wait for my btc to recover for almost a week or more.

I haven't used Polo in months and I don't have any balance on there, so I'm not exactly worried for myself.  It definitely would suck ass if they Cryptsy'ed away with folks's money, as any exchange can do.

You have to wonder just who runs these exchanges, and why there isn't any sort of transparency involved.  Perfect set up for scamming, methinks.  And if that information is available, you just know the ones who are in charge have little business experience.  People running exchanges should, in my opinion, be more than bitcoin enthusiasts and/or computer nerds.

No I do not have any problem with poloniex so I do not have any worry . But I don.t know that why is that problem with you. mayne there will be some issues with your internet connection and because of slow load of page the problem will occur.

It seems like there's a problem with every single deposit or withdrawal I make there lately which requires that I submit a ticket.  One issue has been outstanding for over a month and the rep just tells me how sorry he is and how mad he would be in my position.  I've had to submit so many tickets that I can see from the ticket numbers that there have been a massive number of tickets submitted there lately.
I don't have any problems with poloniex, but my friend had, his account out there has been hacked by someone and it was locked, after more than a month they handle the problem and restore the account with funds were in it, yeah too long for them to solve the problem of their user. But so far Poloniex is trusted maybe their costumer service is need to improve i think.

Every exchange will have problems at some stage... Poloniex included.

This is correct some how.. every exchanges face problems. some will fix them very fast and some will not. I am using lots of Exchange sites and almost every site went down many times a year.. it is more often with an exchanging site because hackers and Ddosers always try to compromise their data bases and wallets and try to steal money..

that's why experienced people never prefer to store big funds in exchange wallets.

I think most the coins especially ETC is dying fast. I should have just withdraw my earnings  but still decided to put all into etc and now i can't even say if it would still goes back. This could make me believe that there is really something happening to poloniex? or maybe im a just too noob in trading.
