I don't know why this happens but today its happening more often. Anyone getting same error??
Why this error appears?

I haven't seen that error myself recently but it can crop up now and then usually server lag and resolves in a few mins
If persistent a different browser can confirm if its working.

I used to have it from time to time, but now, this is right that I have it more often than usually. Maybe this come from all the account creation bots ?

I have had these errors a few days ago where the forum was unreachable for like 20-30 seconds. Yesterday and today it seems to be fine again. It's quite annoying when you write a post and the forum goes out. Glad it doesn't happen that often.

Same true for me during that time frame. Also, I noticed that all links in posts had a ps in front of them then, i.g. ps.https://bitcointalk.org/............ or it was ps:https://bitcointalk.org/............ or it was ps//https://bitcointalk.org/............ (don't recall which).
ps
What does that mean??

It is definitely the server hosting this forum causing those errors or their internal network. It happens to me several times per week and I just wait a sec and refresh. I am so used to them I do not even get bothered when I see it anymore.
Nope shorena disagrees:
everyone gets that every now and then. just server issues. sometimes it's happens more frequent.

Its not actually a server issue, but an issue with the network between you and the server. Probably somewhere near the server as many - including me (over different conections) - have the issue.
Happened to me too , quite frequently yesterday. Had to refresh a couple of times. Irritating when you're trying to post something though lol.
A bit, but I just go back, on chrome, and it shows the post I guess chrome saves the text, so only thing I have to do is press post.

i though at the beginning that it was another ddos, but it may appear as an overload, since sometime i get it when i opened too many pages of the forum(tabs), or when i've sent requests too fast...

its server overload or something like that, this happens quite alot, the forum needs better hardware
Quote from: theymos
I'm still working on getting everything settled in. If it's still slow in a week then maybe better hardware will be needed.
theymos said that after the last hardware change after the last hack, i dont think he upgraded the hardware

It is not that bad on my side as I only receive these error messages once or twice a month.

I think the hardware will only get an upgrade when the site is getting annoyingly slow, which is not the case.

But now the issue is at peak. I see the message every 2-3 minutes. I am wondering if today the no. of users are more than expected that is too much load?
