yes, i think you have been scammed unfortunately and I'm not sure you will get the profit that you earned because that's an old way of scamming people and any site or anyone who ask you to deposit money first before withdrawing your money be sure that is totally a scam.

as a final advise if you wanna earn bitcoin then try bounties (signature bounties specifically) or try to sell goods and services in exchange of bitcoin
check this topic here talking about freelancing Sites that Pay in Bitcoin/Crypto :

hello all my name is 1truhp I'm new to the forum and I need help I'm scared

so hears the story I met a girl on a dating app and she got me into bitcoin. problem is i think I may have been scammed.

my first question is the is ABCCoin a legitimate bitcoin trading website?
second question she supposedly helped me earn a decent amount on there it would help me pay off my student loans and then some. problem is i need 10% of what I earned to withdraw it and i don't have it. we had already started the withdraw process but stopped because I don't have the money. so what happens to what I earned? will it vanish? is it frozen till I have the money? and if it is frozen will I be fined if its frozen for to long?

Please anyone I need some guidance. If you have any information that could help it would be much appreciated.

I'm 100% sure that you have been scammed I have read stories like yours, they make you a winner but before you can withdraw your earnings you have to deposit first, you will be scammed twice if you deposit, because they really not going to send you your winnings, next time do not trust random people even if they very friendly and accomodating to you.

Basically the site was asking me to pay 10% of my earnings from my bank account withdraw what I had earned into the crypto.com app.

To clarify. I deposited money into crypto.com. transferred the money to abccoin. Earned a decent amount and when i tried to transfer what i had earned back to crypto.com abccoin asked for me to pay 10% of the earnings like a bank fee or something.
You have already been told correctly, if a site is asking you for a deposit to wd then you are asking to be scammed.

This is very bad of most site asking or requesting for payment and fees before they could release some currency on their site. i was once a victim of such site but i really learnt from there so i don't pay attention to such site that require addition fees to withdraw funds from their platform.

Any service asking you to deposit money first to be able to withdraw is a scam.
very true, never ever fell on that tricks @1truhp because it's a totally scam. In fact i have such experience when a telegram member ask me for a help to withdraw his funds but unfortunately he don't have money to unlock it so he's asking me if i can pay for it and he will give back my money with a tip. because he said that he needs to pay for something within the site before he can manage the entire amount. And yes he show me some proofs that he own such amount . But thanks god there's a Google and i found it out it was a fraud. Lol so be aware next time and stay away in it.
So this kind of strategy scam is very common in telegram because I experienced the same as you too.  I almost scam but it's a good thing I have a habit to always check the site when it requires transactions and "Who.is" is the perfect tool to use on determining how long the site has been in service, if that is fresh made account like weeks or days, that's another sign that the site is sam.

From the start, OP can sense that is a scam but he didn't do research first, sorry for @OP's loss and he just learned from this mistake and not let that will happen again.  We should always be vigilant at all costs rather than say sorry.

This is another classic deposit first so you can withdraw just like the airdrop send this amount and we will double it, they use an exchange platform and imitating big personalities so they can scam people, if you are joining an airdrop be sure none of deposit first is written if they do consider them as scam no legit project will offer this kind of airdrop, none in the past until now.

Isn't it suspicious from the beginning? You find a girl on a dating app and the first thing she did is talk about investment. If that's not a red flag I don't know what else is.

What kind of dating app is it? I won't be surprised if there are other users who face the same thing if the platform is terrible at confirming their user's identity so they can scam easily. Or did you mean she's just telling you about bitcoin and then you stumble upon one of this shady investment website after that?

my first question is the is ABCCoin a legitimate bitcoin trading website?

I'm not familiar to the name ABCcoin, I did a quick search but what I cant find a specific exchange/trading website namely ABCcoin so it would be better if you can give us a direct link to this trading website. What I found while doing quick search is ABBCcoin which is a name of an altcoin that can be traded in some various exchanges.

second question she supposedly helped me earn a decent amount on there it would help me pay off my student loans and then some. problem is i need 10% of what I earned to withdraw it and i don't have it. we had already started the withdraw process but stopped because I don't have the money. so what happens to what I earned? will it vanish? is it frozen till I have the money? and if it is frozen will I be fined if its frozen for to long?

This makes me confused, which one who asked you to deposit 10% of what you earned in order to withdraw what you have earned? Is it the girl you have just met or the trading website? And how did you earn that decent money? Your information is not clear enough so I'm sure you will get some speculation/guess only here.

didn't get any information about the website you have mentioned, but I'm pretty sure that this is a scammer's trick. Scammers only show you a big amount of money on their website, which is not possible to withdraw even if you send them the payment. Therefore, if you do not want to lose your money, then forget about this website and look for some ways from where you can earn.

He didnt lost any money if you do try to read up again his statement on where he didnt able to make deposit because he didnt have money but for sure if he had then he might possibly able to do so.
Unfortunately, he did. Please, read the whole thread.
It's clear from OP that he did invest money in abccoin. If it's still not obvious, please refer to his second reply where he explicitly confirmed it.
He couldn't withdraw his so-called earnings because he didn't have the 10% needed to unlock withdrawals.

Thank God you ask this question on the forum. You have to learn from here and you are in right place. Just keep in mind forever, if any site or apps ask you to make deposits to withdraw your earning or bonuses then definitely it's a scam. No need to doubts or make another thread for that. I don't know how you have found this forum, but this scam method isn't new here. You should be careful to visit any dating or porn sites. Most scammers are there and they will try to convince you always about being a scam. Don't be greedy in your life.

Sorry for your loss OP.
From the moment I read "I met a girl on a dating app", I knew it's not going to end well!
I searched "abccoin" on Google but didn't find anything. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do to recover your money, I just hope you didn't invest a large amount into this scam.
However, you can help others and warn them about this scam exchange by creating a scam accusation thread on the appropriate board.

There are lots of posers online which are pretending to be a girl because every man's weakness is when the time where women do make out some flirting or something related to that act

which would really be putting us up into the situation on where we do make easily fall out even its way too obvious that this is just a scam attempt plus having that being greedy inside
then its really hard to control when you are on the situation. @OP this is a scam dont fall for it.

hello all my name is 1truhp I'm new to the forum and I need help I'm scared

so hears the story I met a girl on a dating app and she got me into bitcoin. problem is i think I may have been scammed.

So scammers are already invading the dating apps, they used to very active on Facebook and telegrams, maybe they have a hard time on Telegram and Facebook that they shift to dating apps because there are so many newbies about how Cryptocurrency works if you haver a friend who are active in dating apps, warned them about scamming using Cryptocurrency.
Dating apps are used by most of the desperate men so the scammers took this an advantage by approaching them with a sexy girl because its a known fact that a man will be ready to do anything for a girl who is very beautiful. Cheesy

Just a men thing!

If someone says that you can earn bitcoin easily then its 100% scam because if it is true then they will become a millionaire in few months or atleast in years then they can choose any men they like instead of looking for someone in a dating app.

Never invest any bitcoin schemes again because having bitcoin itself is an investment for that you need to choose reputed exchange like binance or coinbase to buy them instead of an unknown platforms.

People on dating sites talk about dating, if someone tells you about the economy or how to make money in a non-specialized place then you are likely to lose that money.
If you want to know more about Bitcoin, ask here or in the famous and specialized forums about Bitcoin, it is the ideal place to learn about digital currencies.
Again, all the sites that give you a quick profit or double coins are fraudulent, whether they use the word Bitcoin or not.
Profits are not considered profits unless you can withdraw them.

Also, if a total stranger gets you into Bitcoin and refers something, may it be an exchange, investment site, investment offer, and whatnots, you've got to doubt him/her immediately. To be safe, just don't fall for any of them. You cannot trust total strangers on dating apps, messaging apps, social media, and many other online platforms regarding Bitcoin. 99.9% of them is scam.

Finally, you don't earn Bitcoin easily. You've got to work for it or, if you don't, you buy it.

SCAM!

Dont make any deposits because if those profits are legitimately been earned then theres no such thing for you to need on making a deposit and that girl is just trying to scam you
on forcing to deposit 10% which is totally bullshit for you to do.

Dont get hooked up easily because you dont know if that is a girl or not behind the screen. It doesnt matter though as long you do use your common sense
then you would able to avoid such situation.

Good thing for you that you dont have money and i do feel out that if you do have then you had might already deposited.  Cheesy

so what happens to what I earned?
I haven't ever used the service you are talking about and it's the first time I've heard its name. So, I don't know what exactly you did to earn bitcoin.
But if they are asking you to deposit first and then they will allow you to withdraw, this means that you haven't earned any money.
