If it is a 2FA wallet... you're not going to be able to spend them anyway, as TrustedCoin does not support BCC... so you won't be able to get them to sign any transactions you make.

To use your Electrum 2FA wallet on Electron Cash, you need to restore in Electron Cash using your 2FA seed and select "DISABLE" when prompted during the restore process:

That should enable you to then spend your BCC from Electron Cash (as it restores 2 master private keys onto your PC, so you can sign the transactions with 2 keys without needing TrustedCoin).

If it is showing up as unconfirmed, and showing the BTC transfer, then it sounds like Electron Cash is currently connected to BTC network and not the BCC network... Go into the network settings and see what server it is connected to.

If the blockchain you're connected to shows a number much higher than: 478818 (like ~479750), then you are connected to BTC network.

I can start Electron Cash 2.9.2 with a server specified at the command line, and it will show the correct BCC balance but I can't send.

"your client produced a transaction that is not acceptable to the network anymore"
Are you using a 2FA (or MultiSig) wallet by any chance? It sounds like the transaction is not being signed correctly... so the network is rejecting it.

If you are seeing a different address, then you have imported the wrong key... OR it is possible that your Electrum wallet was a MultiSig or 2FA wallet. Did your Electrum address start with a "3"?

Also, is there a reason you exported private keys as opposed to simply "restoring" the wallet in Electron Cash by using your "old" Electrum seed? Using the seed should guarantee that it regenerates the exact same addresses in Electron Cash that you had in Electrum.

Hi HCP,

My Electrum wallet is using 2FA and my Electrum address starts by 3

I started over after reading your post and this time I restored using my Electrum seed, now I can see now all the transactions history however my balance is showing as 0, it's in fact showing xxxx mBCC [-xxxx unconfirmed]

When I check my address on BCC blockchain I can see the right balance but on my Elctron wallet it is showing the BTC transfer I did yesterday on Bitcoin network and my BCC balance is 0
Any idea ?

Thanks

"your client produced a transaction that is not acceptable to the network anymore"

If I start with auto servers it always falls back to the BCC block chain.

I have tried:
electroncash.cascharia.com:50002
electrum_abc.criptolayer.net:50012
bcc.arihanc.com:52002

The first two wont even sync properly it they keep falling back to the fork block 478559:
"[Blockchain] verify_chunk failed bits mismatch: 402736949 vs 402757890"

I have deleted the .electron_cash and .electrum folders, and reimported keys several times, it doesn't help

Is there some other BCC server I should select, or is this a fail exercise in which case can someone suggest a better BCC client?

did you delete the old wallet files or renamed them?

I did and immediately sent to viabtc and sell and buy Btc. I was very uncomfortable that Electron cash was already installed in computer. I deleted electron cash and also created a wallet new one with new seeds for bitcoin in electrum.

Hi everyone, so today I installed Electron Cash 2.9.2 on a separate computer from where I have Electrum installed, I did move my BTC funds from my Elctrum wallet, exported my private key and imported it on Electron cash, the issue is that it shows up 0 BCC and the address that appears in Electron cash is different from my BTC address
When I search for my address on BCC blockchain I can see it with the right balance however there's something wrong with the private key import
Any idea guys ?

Anyone tried using electron cash for offline signing transactions yet ?
I have the same problem and still no solution. because of the missing input I cant sign the transaction (error message: 'value')

Seems like the devs know about the issue... and have some patches in place:
https://github.com/fyookball/electrum/commit/8c4f3ad3c943b6a39b21744f89d7652d479f6f05
https://github.com/fyookball/electrum/commit/e8e37beeb46de6bba831a814c08187a921c55473

So you'll need to either wait for the next version to be released (currently now at v2.9.2)... compile it yourself from the latest codebase... or run from sources using latest codebase.
thank you for this info. I will wait for the next release. there is nor reason for selling now Wink

once the payment has 1 confirmation you can sent one more payment !

I successfully imported keys for bitcoin-core wallet, and was able to send the BCC to bittrex wallet (well they await 17 more confirmations, but only 1 confirmation per 2 hours..)

this is what I did:
in the bitcoin-core wallet that holds the coins on august 1, I moved the coins to another address (in same wallet)
with the secret key of the now empty wallet address i imported this into electron-cash on a virtual machine.
The amount of BTC in the now empty wallet showed up instantly in the electron cash.

I then send from electron cash to bittrex, where it showed up after a few minutes.

So far so good.

I send out 20% of the balance to bittrex, which is already showing there as incoming, but even there are plenty more coins it now says "Not enough funds"
If you click on "Wallet -> Show Coins", and then click on "Coins" Tab... how many inputs does it show? If you have a large number of inputs, your transaction will be massive and the dynamic fee will also be large. If you try to send all by clicking max.. then click "preview" and see what the transaction size is in bytes.

You can also try switching off the dynamic fees and set a manual fee... I have no idea what the minimum fees are for BCC... I assume not much as it has 8Meg blocks and I haven't seen 8megs worth of transactions yet Wink

I did successfully get BCC using electron cash and send the BCC to the exchanger. I installed electron-cash using the same computer with electrum, but after this, i no longer use electrum wallet to store bitcoin in my computer forever. Is it safe choice? and should i uninstall electrum and electron since not using it anymore?

Can you explain how to do this step by step?

Follow this guide and you'll be fine. Don't forget to choose the right server for electron cash!

I have tried to open my wallet entering my seed in Electron Cash after having emptied that wallet from BTCs, and Electron Cash was on another PC. No coins have appeared. Connection seems to the right servers.

Has anyone else had trouble with the Android APK? I cant seem to sign a transaction, and it gives me an invalid pin error when trying to view the seed.
Did you import an Electrum seed or a BIP39 seed that was from another wallet? Electrum does not store imported BIP39 seeds in the wallet file... so it is unable to be retrieved (on desktop, the "Wallet - Seed" menu item is greyed out and not clickable... on mobile it gives "invalid pin" error)

It was from a paper wallet. The balance was uploaded to the electrum cash wallet but ya I cant seem to sign a transaction or view the seed.
