I was already starting to sell off my doge holdings as it approached and then passed the 100 sat mark, but when it hit 120 sat I couldn't sell fast enough. I was checking all my PCs, hard-drives, and USB sticks for old doge wallets, lol.

Anyway, I made plenty where when it drops back down into the 30 sat range, I can re-buy double the amount of doge I sold off and still retain half my profits in BTC. Sweet days indeed.

You think doge is even worth buying once it falls down to 30 sats? it doesnt seem to hold its price too well, the best we could hope for is in another years time it gets pumped back up to 100 or so but thats a pretty long investment.
Eeeeehhhhh, I don't know if we'd have to wait a year for DOGE to reach 100 satoshis again.  This is what makes crypto so fun.  The market cap on most of these coins is small, so the price is easily manipulated and you can get in on a good pump if you're lucky.  It might not be a bad idea to get in now, and as I write this DOGE is at 70 satoshis on Yobit.  Perhaps when I come into some money next I'll start buying.

There is no news on Dogecoin. It seems that a bunch of whales accumulated cheap dogecoin for a long time and is using this opportunity when bitcoin is dropping to pump up altcoins to sell them.
If no one can explain then you could be right.

Yup, this.

And China.
Yeah  it's not holding it's value and is slowly dropping back down.

Happy to see I was right. I sold all I had for bitcoin near 110 satoshis. It could be worth it to buy some back and keep them until the next pump. It was quite predictable watching the whole altcoin market skyrocket...

No idea, but looking at long-term trends it does seem to poke up for a new pump every 6 months or so, so in any event it is really a long term position. Good thing is it seems to flat-line when near its bottom for a long period of time, so should be easy to spot to buy back in.

What you said kinda got me thinking on a sidebar; I know what you are saying about a years time is long in Crypto-world, but even if it took another year for doge, or any coin for that matter, to hypothetically drop to 30 and pump again to 120, out in the rest of the world people would jump at the chance for a 4x return in under a year.

It looks like a dump will follow shortly, if, by chance we don't happen to see another major pump...who knows let's wait and see.

Whales pumping dogecoin to prepare capital for the next Ethereum buy.

The amount of anti bitcoin propoganda and spam ethereum is sending out at the moment i would expect a dump coming soon rather than a big buy. Im sure they have hooked in enough future bag holders to do a dump pretty soon.

It's just a pump and dump thing. I don't believe it is in any way related to the ETH news.

The chinese are pumping a lot of altcoins these days. DOGE isn't the only rocketing coin. It's only a matter of time before they dump and price will come back to normal.

No need to worry, but no need to get excited either. I just sold the few altcoins I had and made a nice profit. Thx chinese pumpers.

You know I actually actively traded today on Yobit and made a small profit.  It was kinda interesting but stressful at the same time.  Doge was like a rocket today, up to something like 130 satoshis, but it was definitely dumped at some point this evening, because it's now below 100.  What an interesting day.  And bitcoin is in the crapper for now.

I think it is better to keep your coins a little longer and see if it can go higher.

but be careful not to hold them too long that you miss out when the dump happens.
