Looks like Ethereum has been gaining some popularity among the gamblers lately. Do you guys want to ask DirectBet to include Ethereum as one of the altcoin options on their website?

i think directbet would love to have ETH after all their domain doesn't favor any coin unlike those gambling sites with the word bit on their domain.
so when you bet you'll have to click t he dropdown and choose eth,

directbet have a pool open to his thread in bitcoitalk for "how coin you like add in the site" but is very old and to more of 800 votes, eth have only 11 preference

If directbet ever adds ETH as an option (or any other site for that matter) post it here and I'll add it to the OP list of places that accept ethereum.

yeah they should add etherium too,  i mean etherium is really popular right now, people buys it, so it won't hurt directbet.eu if they'll add them

I could not understand when you are able to exchange/convert your altcoins to bitcoin, what is the need of searching for altcoin accepting services or gambling.

Other than this, if gambling houses also provide exchange services within their site, they will not be loosing an altcoin gambler.
Maybe because they want to grow their altcoin? Converting comes with fees, and the price could change a lot when you are finished gambling. It's easier for some people to find an altcoin accepting site to gamble with.

I don't think ETH is a very viable currency to do gambling.. its blockchain is very heavy so they would need to come up with a better system. And at the end of the day you already got Bitcoin to gamble with which is the biggest coin by far, so I don't see any casinos bothering with enabling another currency that does the same.

Hi, I have 2 ETH. Does anyone know where I can gamble them other than just by trading? Is there a dice/casino/sportsbook/other that accepts ETH?

*EDIT: So according to the responses in this thread so far(thanks), the sites where ETH can be used to gamble:

crypto-games.net
bitdice.me

after first 5 minutes of googling i found bitdice.me and crypto-games.net, crypto games, site looks really nice, gambled there few times and won

it is quite hard to find sites that accept gambling yet, since etherium is still very young, not like bitcoin or lite coin, there will be more in future

I guess you bring an idea to gambling owners. But eventually it may turn to combine a different business within gambling. Still, many gamblers with alt coins would love it.
That's actually not quite a new idea (at least not to us).

~snip~

Thats a nice feature to have!
Looking forward to new changes to the system

wow someone actually accepts it.   Roll Eyes  but yeah spend it so it so you could help its economy.
it needs a lot of gambling sites and users to exchange ETH, maybe a store as well that accepts eth can be a good start to make its value go up. but here's what you can do to stop the search.. buy btc using that eth and then go play it. sure that's easy than finding more merchant accepting ETH.

Don't go for any shapeshift implementation or something similar, choose a site natively accepting ETH.
I'd (obviously) suggest the already named crypo-games.net in that case.
You can test it with faucet before depositing, if you're not sure.
Give it a try Smiley
