Very good point, but then I guess the question becomes marketcap as a comparison.

After searching threads about apollo on reddit this seem to be the most upvoted thread.

When you look at their price charts from the very beginning it does look like their coin is being pumped and dumped. On January 11 the price was sitting at $0.0007 then 10 days later it rose up to $0.003500.


We don't have to wait for years. Apollo's price is cheap because their circulating supply is 14 billion its price will never be similar to Dash or Monero.

at the moment the price difference is very high and i think it will take years before apollo will reach the values ​​of dash and monero

Apollo

Apollo is a feature-rich cryptocurrency and platform that aims to combine a lot of what other platforms provide with privacy being at the very core of what it stands for.

Apollo is very much the newest of these platforms. The project is presented as containing all of the features that the other projects have in one way or another already pioneered while adding a few features of their own. Apollo was originally a fork of the NXT platform rather than Ethereum which unlike the other technologies in this list, gives importance to privacy and control over one’s data. A key selling point made by the Apollo platform is that the platform is unregulated, meaning that the privacy elements to it will be beyond any government control. At the same time, they promise to make the platform easily accessible to those who don’t have a bank account by providing physical buy locations, mobile options, and even creating a physical currency.

While details are scarce, another major development for Apollo that is planned for 2020 is Smart Contract support. We are yet to see what sort of languages they support and how the smart contracts will be, such as Turing completeness, which only time can tell.

Regarding the negative talk, one of the founders was involved in a controversy in the past.

I have not read about this coin yet but now i will try to research more about it but personally i do not think that a new coin can reach as high in price as established coins so even if the tech is really good it will take quite a time before new coins can reach to those highs.

I too never heard any coin in the  name of apollo. For me, google is showing some topic in the name of Apollo Token.

For your information this coin is getting a lot of hype, including good mention in a forbes article last year.

This must be a joke thread. Apollo is a pre-mined pump and dump coin, the developers already done a major dump and exit scammed the community. I'd stick with DASH and Monero over this APL shi+coin any day

From where you are people getting this information ?

A full member asking a question by 09:38:21 AM and getting reply from hero member in 7 minutes and then a member ranked person confirming that in next 12 minutes.

I just googled, coinmarketcap listing a coin namely apollo but it is not at all having BITCOINTALK ANNOUNCEMENT topic. Hence, I wonder from where these people are getting some unknown coin's information ? I just suspect this total topic is by apollo to promote themselves.

You are right. At least to my layman eyes, Apollo looks very promising, targeting new levels of privacy not seen before. Apollo enables direct IP masking using the Tor layers for truly untraceable transactions. This technology also has coin shuffling - an interesting option which utilizes something similar to bitcoin mixers, which also improves privacy and makes any block chain analysis virtually impossible. On paper it looks good, but it doesn't mean anything if it doesn't take off.

Apollo is very far different price to the dash and monero now because apollo is even cents only there is no only and cheaper cent only the value now. But let's see if the value of ths apollo will become like the Dash and Monero someday let's wait few years or 5 years or more and we hope that it will become the the two coin that you mentioned and it is good for they to have because possible for them to become millionaire.

Seems to me that APOLLO is an improved version of DASH and MONERO...

So I am thinking that it has similar price potential at least.
