Damn, I knew I should have made a second bet with a "g" instead of "6".

On another note, are those fingers? I thought I was staring at a set of nice female legs the whole time...

Edit: Well done, HappyBuddy!

You think I should try finger modeling?  Wink

BTW HappyBuddy you managed to find a bug! :-) I think you've gotten double the reward. I'll try to find what caused this because it should have been impossible and then upload a new picture. EDIT: Actually, can you confirm this? Because it looks like I am not missing any BTC so it must be a bug in my last payments listing code and not in the payments code. EDIT2: Nope, not a display problem, it actually sent the award twice.  Huh EDIT3: I think I found the bug, I'm 99% sure that it was a very VERY special case triggered by the recent server downtime. I think I patched it now.

Is this latest picture some sort of trick question?
The text at the bottom is clear, it says apopheniabtc.com.

You can send my winnings to 1LVq9SYQKhqUpLpM9YECrTFzAirwxnE8B6

Hahahaha

Actually you can try entering that answer and see what comes up. :-) EDIT: don't pay, just try to bet on that answer.

haha, nice

Yes, my client was out of sync. The first one a minute earlier went through though?

I think so, yes. They have got a big difference in blocks that came after they got confirmed. No idea how you managed that. :-)

Here is a new picture too:

What does the text say?

I made a bet to address 14tG7HdbU9psmpds7uKRTfaRo8q2J3JTB9 but it appears to have not registered. Did I cut n paste the address wrong?

Edit:
I can't find it in the blockchain either?  It says the address hasn't been used. Transaction ID 777ac37b8edc06eb68e19a020e84662c88663c79a067f9a71f655b5054af3ae8

The address is indeed correct but no payment has been seen on the network to this address. What bitcoin client do you use? Maybe your blockchain is out of sync or the client is offline, if that even applies to your client.

EDIT: It looks like it got through a few minutes ago. Still at zero confirmations though.

Yes! I finally got one! Cheesy

Just... wow, Unluckyduck.

And now for something slightly different!

@fuggedit: I don't want to sell it yet but thank you for the generous offer, really :-). I'm in the middle of implementing localization for a couple of languages. Actually the Greek translation is almost ready (I did it just to see if the translation system works) and in a couple of days I'll probably have a Portuguese translation too. I also got a couple of other features that I want to implement first.

I still dont know how to find a deposit address to put my bet in so I can play... Anyone care to enlighten me?

You first need to put your answer and your receiving address. After you click "bet" you will get a bet address.

Do as I say to do--But don't. (Mind Blown)
I dont understand? I was looking to play but there are no pictures unsolved with which to bet on.. Do I have to wait until new ones are put up? Can someone tell me when they get placed up?

Fuggedit, It's not an automatic system for posting images so after an image is solved it can sometimes take a day or two for a new image to be posted.  Sad

so the guy who runs the show is not exactly a go-getter....

Yea I can tell... Sucks.... Neat idea but bad execution... I still dont know how to find a deposit address to put my bet in so I can play... Anyone care to enlighten me? (Not that I am considering playing seeing how lackadaisical this admin is...

On a side note:
Owner, would you be interested in selling the site and handing it over to someone who can take the reigns more effectively and lead this idea/business to becoming much more successful? I'll offer 2 Btc to buy it

New In Town...
Here's a new pic: SNIP!

How do I play?'

Go to the ApopheniaBTC website, https://apopheniabtc.com/, then click on the distorted picture.  Input the information required (your BTC receiving address, your guess) then click "Bet".  You'll then be given an address to send the displayed amount of BTC to.  After a confirmation or two, if your guess was correct, you'll receive your BTC!

I've played a few times, and even got a few answers correct.  It's a great game that doesn't take up too much of your time and it can slowly drive you insane when you're sure you know what it is... then it cleans up the photo a bit more and you were way off.

Vanity of vanities; all is vanity...

Just a quick note, in the gambling world, the phrase: "Bet x to win y" has a very specific meaning.  The "to win" part is profit, and it doesn't include the amount you bet.

For example, if I bet 2 to win 10, that means that I would get 12 back total, if you took my initial 2.

Good point! I'm fixing it now...
