You have failed to follow the rules and that's enough to keep calm and wait for the stipulated time/days given to you, A 14 days ban is a good one for you to learn from your mistake, I'm pretty sure that mods didn't ban you temporary for no reasons, it would be nice of you to investigation why you were ban and never track on the impure ways. I have seen couples of permaban appeals that got no responds at last.
It would be better for you to contact your customers about the ban so next you take proper care of your giveaways to be in order as well.

It's too hilarious and ridiculous that you've appealed the 14-day ban.
I think it's neither ridiculous nor hilarious; it's exactly what I would expect from someone who didn't bother to read the rules in the first place, got banned for breaking them, and continues to break the rules by posting outside of his ban appeal thread.  Those are the kinds of people who just want to do whatever they want and don't like it when there are consequences.

I think OP is lucky he only got a 14 day ban instead of a permanent one.  That, by the way, is the warning you claim you never got.

I think he has learnt from his mistake. He will not post again from his alt account and also once his main account is restored, he will use the games and round section of the forum for giveaways and competition.

Lets give him some breathing space if he is on the right track  Smiley

To avoid extra suspensions, we will not use the forum until the main account is reactivated, hopefully before the 14days.

This campaign and future similars will take place in games and rounds.

Indeed. Most users are often permabanned with no warning at all. BetBTC is still lucky despite their long years of having a bad image in the forum. Somehow it's kinda unfair to those that just had permanently banned with no warnings due to breaking the rules once (if ever there was which I think certain rules applied to perma ban such as Plagiarism and of course Ban Evasion) while BetBTC had almost so many accounts for their advertisements (mentioned by mole0815)

BTW, I think the mod must lock this thread if the OP cannot. Other users might reply unnecessary comments in here that would have the same idea as what already have posted.

Instead of posting outside this ban appeal thread and breaking the rules again you could hire a reputable manager or ask someone you trust to keep an eye on your giveaway thread and post updates thete on your behalf.

Now because of this silly mistake, you may get a perma-ban.

You are not allowed to post outside the meta area. And you never write there have been problems or warnings?
I am only online via mobile and even so I could find some problems from the past. Maybe you have to look even closer Wink

Lol those threads where created back then in 2016 and it is already a warning to the BetBTC in the forum. I didn't think they've really manage to learn nor to respect the forum rules at all. If the BetBTC issue had already been clarified and close a long time ago, why do they make and keep making noises with the ban appeal now?

I think the management must ban/auto-ban any users that promotes nor advertise the use of BetBTC. This ban appeal and the past accusations had already been disrespected the forum and its rules for the nth time and it wouldn't be rude if any users that deals promotes it must be banned.

Would like to appeal the 14-day.

It's too hilarious and ridiculous that you've appealed the 14-day ban. You could've waited for it yet you didnt. You even manage to make notice outside the meta first before taking the appeal here, in which either of those are still prohibited and a pure obvious mistake. I don't see any future again for the BetBTC here in the forum. May you learn your lessons "Since 2014"

If anyone posts out of the meta section, as he has done here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.55159600 what are the consequences for it ?
Is the ban exceeds or the main account is permanently banned ?
That as well falls under ban evasion. The purpose of a ban whether temporary or permanent is to prevent the rule breaker from posting anywhere in the forum further apart from appealing for the ban in Meta. But since OP is temporarily banned for giveaway posts, i don't think a permanent ban can be extended to the main account. Worst case scenario could be having his appeal account getting a ban too plus maybe getting the ANN locked by the mods.

Like in previous weeks, we'd like to participate in "advertise in this forum" current period, the 14-day ban won't allow it.
thanks
I see you are posting from this account outside of this thread which you're not allowed to do. Please delete other messages outside this thread. It's sad to see the ban but you are restricted from doing anything on the forum for 14 days. Please follow the rules to avoid any future problem.

The veteran doesn't give value to the forum rules? You just posted with your new account on Your ANN thread before knowing the real reason for your reason which is ban evasion as others said which could even make your ANN to be trashed.

Wait for the Mod to respond and delete all your posts on this account other than this thread! You can ask any of the forum users to make posts on behalf of you to give information about your temporary ban.

I think your  14-day is related to your bitcoin giveaway. Is it what you get in the message why your account was banned?

Firstly I think you run your altcoin giveaway (I think so because you own a casino) but your post history (first 5 pages don't show such altcoin giveaway, it is bitcoin giveaway).

Did you run it in Games and Rounds or in your ANN thead?

Rule is there
Games and rounds (child board of Gambling) - "Spreadsheet games, forum-based games, and discussion of individual rounds/games on other sites." All Bitcoin giveaways, raffles, contests also go here.

here are the rules if you're still sceptical. you could've had just waited for 14-days and figure out how to communicate to the participants that the account has been suspended without breaking the rules.
the 14 days ban is the warning. as far as I know, if you got temporarily banned 3 times the next time you get banned again it will be permanent.

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]

25. If you get banned (temporarily or permanently) and create a new account to continue posting / sending PMs, it's considered ban evasion. The only exception is creating a thread in Meta about your ban.

Did you get a reason for your ban in he ban message.

It might be worth saying POSTING anywhere outside this topic would be considered ban evasion and may get your old account permabanned instead.

Would like to appeal the 14-day.
Never had a single warning for it. The idea was to incentivise the sharing of betslips, no idea that it was against the rules.
