That’s really nice and I hope Android do the same thing and introduce emojis of cryptocurrency, that’s going to help in making a lot of people to be adopting cryptocurrency. I know that’s not going to like push everybody into cryptocurrency, but when they start seeing that emoji almost everyday, it will lead to everybody talking about it all the time and also using the emojis in some cases, then as it goes on some people will develop interest from there and would like to try out cryptocurrency investment.

Yeah right, as long as the price moves up and we make a profit, it won't matter which one does good but we also have to accept the reverse when it's happening and it's currently happening right now with the price of bitcoin on a limbo. Another reason that I can think that El Salvador's introduction is probably going to go awry because I don't think there isn't a lot of people there have some access to mobile or electronic device.

I am not sure how this can drive the market. But it seems that it will work. I think many Apple users will use this emoji and will be more familiar with it. Maybe 10% of them will be curious and 0.01% of them will become new cryptocurrency users. But I am not sure that it's strong enough to make bitcoin price rise. But it is good bitcoin advertisement, I think we will know the impact after 3 years or above.

El Salvador positive news isn't moving the price because we are still in an accumulation phase with a lot of ongoing FUD. It has always been like this, it is also similar to ineffectiveness of negative news or even FUD during an ongoing rise.
The news you linked however is just advertisement and not a serious matter.

If your statement is true, it doesn't really have anything to do with Bitcoin and instead has to do with the combined idiocy of the masses. Apple announcing a crypto emoji would provide next to no value, while countries adopting Bitcoin could be a game changer. The market caring more about Elon posting memes or Apple adding a emoji than a country using Bitcoin for it's currency means that the market is not smart. What drives the market is supply and demand, which can be influenced and use the news to make a small event seem big and vice versa.
The news channels are also trying to find a logical justification for increasing or decreasing the price, although that justification may not be true, but everyone believes it.
Suppose, for example, that the price of Bitcoin rose 10% (a natural thing) and at the same time something happened, such as a player in the English Premier League watching a Bitcoin movie, you will find some news channels linking the two events, which is exactly what happens with Elon Musk’s tweets.

Those things aren't the cause behind the price swings, they are a trigger for existing price pressure. The market was going to crash with or without Elon & China, they just made the fall occur faster. The cause behind the crash is that there was simply not enough new buyers.

I did not get it. You think that if with next firmware update Apple add crypto emojies, it will stimulate the price to go up? It wont happen and here is why - twitter has added some crypto emojies months ago and all we got was news article on crypto pages. That is it.
But if Apple would add crypto payments to their Wallet app, that might shake bitcoin price.

That's because the market is too immature right now. Can't call "matured" an asset of which price can be moved literally based on the opinion of a billionaire. Lots of people say gold sucks, yet it doesn't seem to move it this sharply.

You will have to wait a long time before things get a little more stable over here. Until then, memes might move mountains of money like the recent happening with Musk..

Well, stick around a couple more years or three. By the time the next crazy rally starts again, you'll remember this cycle still ongoing and then you won't be surprised anymore. China will pop up (again) but I think Elon will be displaced, just as good old McAfee and Dimon etc. were.

And hey, to be fair, crypto emojis would be much more a mass adoption thing than El Salvador;) But let's wait for that country to actually walk the talk first, yeah?

I see America is more prepared when it comes to adopting bitcoin. they have institutions ready to oversee and plus average citizens who already understand crypto and blockchain. This makes mass adoption easier.

I’m sorry to say but Apple adding this new feature won’t really impact the price of Bitcoin very well. Of course, we would welcome that as a way to massively adopt crypto to those who aren’t aware yet or those who have been misinformed.

P.S. I would love to see Facebook and Twitter introduce crypto emojis as well in the future.

Maybe you are right about it because Apple is a reknown global brand compared to El Salvador that isn't a famous country whatsoever for anything, pretty sure that the popularity of Apple is going to help them a lot in terms of moving the market.

Emojis? Really? It doesn't make sense but the market moves in ways most of us do not understand anymore like you said. Whatever the case may be, I guess it would be alright if non-coiner Apple users can get used to seeing crypto through emojis. Them buying because of that is another matter though.
