This is not a real campaign, the manager pranked every one of them because of the April fool, but now he has alread let everyone know that it was a joke since the real campaign is still on and running. Avoid trusting people on 1st of april you will likely get deceived on that day, it's a yearly ritual that has been in existence before we were born.

Royse you are my man, but I must say the truth people has been hurt already, as a campaign manager you have to avoid some joke because you are dealing with the public not a company or private individual. This is where Public Relationship will come to play.  You are a public figure so you supposed know how to deal with human feelings. To many this joke has given you discredit and to the company Sinbad because you used the company to deceived the users, that is, some persons in the community has given their mistrust on you campaign because they will first think to know the legit nature of campaign and with this you might not have reputable members in your campaigns again because you have played with instincts. When I enter Reputation Board today, I saw different threads on your head which is bad, and you have to avoid this and that.

Around the world, hundreds of companies (not to say thousands) as well as very credible media, make this kind of joke and it wasn't because of that that they lost credibility.

I can even understand the fact that people don't like this kind of jokes. I don't like lying either. Now, that's not why this or another user loses their credibility, because they never guaranteed anyone that they would receive anything.

You can say that those who were already in the campaign may have been deceived that they would receive more. Yes it's true, but in 24 hours, I don't think anyone started planning to buy a house because of that increase. I accept that they may have been excited, and then disappointed because it was a lie. But, it was also not for lack of warning that it was a lie, there were several posts in this regard.

Anyway, I think we shouldn't dramatize the situation so much.
Well, it's just my opinion...

On April Fools' Day, Trust No One!

It was a nice April Fool party :-)

I wouldn't say much, though. I partially believe this was true, but I also had to rethink, (come on!) this was a good offer that was too nice to come on the wrong day. On April 1st, don't put your trust in anyone. If I said I trusted these 100%, then I must be  joking. Huh

Trust no one on April 1st.
My 99% instinct told me it was an April fool prank while 1% agreed. But what if it's real? The 1% that people disregard at times could make them cry...lol.

As for the image you uploaded, it's so hilarious, but still educating for those that could view it insightfully. I believe the lady did that unintentionally believing she could use the handle to support herself not knowing the risk involved, which could injure her as well. Smiley

This was a pretty elaborate, yet dark April Fools joke.

I still remember when I got accepted to CM, I was a part of another mixer's campaign run by Hhampuz, and he went out of his way to ask DS if we could finish the week so that he could pay us before changing our signature, he was very professional and showed no signs of being mad at me and the other two guys who moved from his campaign, I am sure the other folks like Royse, yahoo and icopress and the rest would act as professional, so all in all, nobody had lost anything.
I was one of those who were accepted into CM, and I can still find the Hhampuz post you mean: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.50637155.

Even though the beginning of the period in CM could have covered or exceeded the previous campaign, I preferred to complete the campaign professionally until the end period.

And from what I experienced in the Hhampuz and DarkStar_ campaigns, they also worked professionally. I'm sure other campaign managers like Royse777 also have their way of being professional in their movements, including creating sensational events so that the campaigns they manage have their history.

Although personally, I don't like lies.

One last piece of advice to everyone is to stop taking signature campaigns as a main source of income, there is nothing more stupid than that, we all love the forum and love posting (I posted here for years before even applying to any campaign) but then I figured out if I can get some little extra income while doing something I already do, why not? but you should still treat every week as if it's the last week, make zero plans on what you are going to do with the payment for this week or next week.
In addition, keep in mind that the signature campaign will have an ending too.

This is the best April fools prank that I have witnessed in my life so far. Props to Royse for coming up with such an elaborate prank which clearly took a decent amount of effort that many people fell for in this forum.

Ouch this should hurt for many users after raising people's hopes Cry Cry

The chances of being accepted to any high-paying campaign are slim to nothing for most average users, even if this was a real deal, >90% of the applications would not have been accepted, so what hopes would anyone have over a new campaign? if someone plans to take a loan or get married just because they got accepted to a signature campaign then something is seriously wrong with them, so let alone have high hopes even before getting accepted.

The only thing that might affect those who applied (myself included) is that if you were already a part of another campaign -- its manager might see it as "you are not serious about their campaign and might be replaced by someone else", but I am sure most campaign managers don't take those things personally and do understand fair well that this is only 'business'.

While I don't have qualms regarding the pranks and the people who didn't like the prank, there are also different situations for different people like myself who became jobless because of personal reasons like an accident and the sudden change of lifestyle and the situation where you need to adapt to it is really stressing but it is all fine, and I know that people will say that it is your choice in the first place.

I didn't really have a problem whether I'd get accepted or not. That only means I didn't qualify from their standards and it is not something to be blamed to others but myself. This is why it is already big enough for me to become part of any other campaigns because that only means I was recognized and they see me as someone fit and serious on their campaign. The only thing I'm very concern is that I need to find that opportunity and grab it in order for me to qualify to their standards. First thing is the merit and posts quality. I already received bunch of merits from the recent April fool's event by sir @theymos himself. Now I only need to improve my post quality.

That means there are more fools campaign threads that are coming, this is an expenses joke, which can take some lives.

Apparently not.  And I agree with the one above who said there are some things you should not be joking about on April 1st.  What if one of the 'automatically accepted' participants made a financial decision because they knew they will be paid up to $350 next week.  Then they are told, you know what, you actually get paid just as much as last week.

I can even understand the point where you want to get.

Just as the old maxim of investing is: never invest money you are not willing to lose.
Another excellent maxim is: never spend money you haven't earned. If you didn't receive it, it's not guaranteed money.

Right at the beginning of the game, some users pointed out that it could be part of the April 1 matches. That fact alone should make us think twice, and not get too excited. Just wait 24 hours to be sure. Nothing much, to be sure.

In the midst of all this, I find all this exposition a little exaggerated. But then again, everyone has their own feelings.

Maybe I just did not get the memo.
Oh buddy!
You did not get the memo.
What if it was not an April fool but you were not in the accepted participants list?
Would you still blame this event?
There is nothing guaranteed when you apply in a campaign unless I inform you before hand.
My inbox was flooding with PMs, lost count but it would not be less than 15 PMs, my Telegram DM was flooding with not less that 30 private messages. None of them got a guaranteed assurance of anything. I even missed to response many. In the past if anyone got a guarantee of having a spot then they had it. The same will happen in the future too. So if you think yourself that your spot was guaranteed without receiving any assurance from me then how am I going to take the blame on me.

Again it was a pure April fool joke, not meant to hurt anyone's feeling: https://t.me/Royse777Agency/578
If anyone felt hurt then please accept my apology.

It's hard to make everyone happy, it's an universal truth. Different people have different understanding in the same matter.
Sorry, for any inconvenience that happened to anyone by the prank.
But it looks like more people had real fun than a very small percents. The reactions of many members were fun to read. Most of them looked they had real fun then disappointments.

Besides, as a campaign manager I like to use every opportunity to expose the brands that trust my management, I get paid to make awareness, separate the brand from others and stand out from the crowed, I get paid to make exceptions. To achieve that, I always keep my brain sharp. Give the best effort and a lot of time in the environment. I do it everyday, restlessly. When you are sleeping, I am awake reading through comments, analyzing market move, understanding the trending then processing every information by taking notes to apply in the brand awareness of the projects I am working for. Everyone can count post history and process a spreadsheet, it's the most boring job which does not use any part of your brain.

This year mixers were top at the list, timing was great, everything was perfect to pull the trigger for a perfect prank. I took that chance. I had nothing else in mind with due respect to everyone, it was never meant to hurt anyone's feeling. But anyway, it's a success so far.

Not sure I will come up with another prank next year. Maybe or maybe not. But this prank will be remembered for a long time in the forum history. Future will decide if it will have positive or negative influence but it looks like an innocent April fool event is not going to create a negative result. Money is the by-product of everything we do. I hope this prank will flourish the hall of fame of the forum history book. Again my apology for those who was hurt by it.

PS: I will really suggest everyone not to consider signature campaign as a permanent source of consistent income. As managers, we understand it very well that today something is looking very promising tomorrow when you wake up and check the forum you will see it's no more.

You already experienced it with Chipmixer and many others.

I know it was April Fools day.  And I do not mind pranks at all most of the time.  But this one hit different.

This was a very bad timing particularly due to Chip Mixer's downfall.  I am currently living some pretty rough days financially and as soon as Chip Mixer went down I thought to myself, now there will surely be another Mixing service around that is going to try to replace Chip Mixer, advertise through Bitcoin Talk and pay similar rates in order to powerfully boost their ads.  The best is now down, so this was in my mind what is bound to happen next.

Then here comes a fake Sinbad Signature Campaign with, for most, an unimaginable pay rate.

I had an offer in PM for a Signature Campaign participation and I had to decide.  Do I choose to apply for Sinbad, a k a be a fish in the ocean and hope for an acceptation or do I apply for the other campaign I was actually invited to and lose this opportunity.  Being in a rough financial situation, I unfortunately turned down the PM offer and attempted to join this one.

You may think, why not apply for both.  I am not that kind of guy.  Say I apply for both and get accepted in both.  Now I have to pull out of one Campaign and give its manager a headache.  Their campaign starts a new week with one less participant, which means less advertisement.  To me this is cool, I lose nothing.  To the business, it is not so much.  So I rather make a moral decision and turn down an offer while accepting the other.

Now some of you may say.  Come on, it was April 1st.

I did consider it was a joke.  This was until I saw the rules, who was running the Campaign and who it was advertising.

Why would the other Campaign be closed if this one was fake, I wondered.  And Sinbad is now pretty well known on Bitcoin Talk.  Why would they run a false advertisement Campaign.  Then I wondered, why would any Campaign Manager even do something like this.

Then I went to the rules section.  I knew that in the last few months, there have been discussions in the Chip Mixer Signature thread about making the entire Campaign participation process so much more private.  We did discuss about Dark Star only accepting Addresses in PM instead of sending them through thread reply upon participation.  About not having a Google Spreadsheet no more.  And much more.

So I see Royse has the following rule.

Quote
▶️ When accepted then please provide me a bech32 address via forum PM

I think to myself, wow, not only is Sinbad about to pay unimaginable rates.  But Royse is also turning this so much more private.  Then I see this,

Quote
▶️ To access spreadsheet you will need to provide me a Gmail email address via PM (Only for accepted participants)

So I say wow, at least this is not a public link any more.  Is Royse really doing what Dark Star was suggested by some of us?

Apparently not.  And I agree with the one above who said there are some things you should not be joking about on April 1st.  What if one of the 'automatically accepted' participants made a financial decision because they knew they will be paid up to $350 next week.  Then they are told, you know what, you actually get paid just as much as last week.

Think of it as if my manager called me yesterday and told me I just had my salary doubled.  I do not know, this is kind of dangerous in my belief.  But whatever.  Maybe I just did not get the memo.

Regards,
PrivacyG
Even if I don't want to say this but I know that there will be someone like you also who would think that the joke has gone too far. Though I didn't expect much since I know the payrate is too extravagant, I still chose to apply coz I've been jobless for almost 4 months now and I've been trying to have opportunities too as much as possible, and even if you call me guys that I am desperate enough to join campaigns I wouldn't deny that fact, coz who wouldn't turn down an opportunity right? Besides as my situation suggests right now, I do really need to have one to sustain my day to day needs.

Edit: if I didn't get accepted in any campaigns including this, that only means I didn't qualify and I have to try again next time. Let's just accept reality coz that's what/how it is.

I too was confused why would a company do that but then again I knew it was April fool's Day.
I thought of changing writing a note on my application something like "Happy April Fool's Day from Royse" then i thought meh it's ok without it.
There were several note worthy things to notice like:
 -No payment address was asked.
-Royse holding the funds were not allowed for public to see (It's ok rule is set before campaign started)

Money is not everything, but reputation, Hhampuz has said my mind. I discovered two things in the campaign. There was no BTC address required by the manager in the application and also there was no spreadsheet in the campaign. April Fool is good but not everything is good to make April Fool because your joke might kill another fellow. Lolz!! People were excited to join the campaign but Dramatical Irony was played on the campaign. I thank God that I discovered the prank on time and leave application.
