Project fundraising directly depends on the market phase. Today, the market is in a phase of decline, investors do not want to risk and waiting for next phase. Most projects have postponed the launch of their ICO by the end of autumn - winter. Today it's really hard to choose a good project.
As compare to year 2017 this year bounties scam ratio is very high there are several reason behind this and most probable reason as i think is ethereum Dropping because around 90% of ico's are based on ethereum and ethereum price is dropping day by day.
There are still good projects out there but just harder to find because of the shitcoins left and right. There really are a lot of the same ideas but it's also good as for competition and maybe the other team and slight difference of the project might be the difference for success and failure of the project.
I have been looking through the forum for potential bounties this week and most look like absolute garbage or rehashes of coins we already have. Are you guys experiencing this? I wen through about 20 projects and didn't find one good one. Looks like the days of grabbing a bunch of ICO's and hoping for the best is over. There is way to much garbage out there right now.
It has been the worst time to start an ICO for last 3 months, reaching reasonable soft/hard caps becomes more difficult. I agree that lots of projects do not solve any problem (therefore has no added value to a client), and I miss ICOs that stands on successfully tested crypto applications e.g. true Dapps.
As more and more projects come forward there is bound to be some replication and fewer original ideas. But just because somebody is trying to do something that already exists nothing to say they won't make a better job of it. I look for the initial value of the token and the possible returns, and if you are fortunate to pick a project with fewer participants you can still take a reasonable bounty.
almost all of them, but some of the bounty was still paying and has good value. to select the bounty that actually pay that is now difficult, because now lots of bounty such as fraud.
Too much frustrating campaign extension is new motto of icos now which also affect hunters to make it worst many of them is replica of something we have already and lastly no prospect or tendency to succeed.
Unfortunately, the huge number of coins and bounties that appear recently is garbage. And it's very difficult to distinguish shit from a real product, because everything is beautifully decorated.
So do a little analysis yourself. Go to the profile of the topic starter, read his messages,topics he created. Spend some time on it, but much will become more clear.

But after I decide to check topic starter's profile. And I was very surprised.
Those guy create 13 projects
Of course, there can be no trust in such projects.
Such "dev" just steal the ideas of others already existing projects, modified it a little and presented as something new.

the quality of the ICO's seems to be on par with the quality of the people participating in them on bitcointalk. Everything has gone downhill, not just the ICO's but the users of this forum/spammers/scammers/hackers you name it. Look at this thread for example, 10% quality posts and 90% of rehashed been said before garbage. Too many new altcoin ICO's and not enough new money coming in. I used to buy into ICO's but that was a last year thing, i wouldn't touch any of them no matter how good they sound nowadays.

Maybe not? Maybe what we have today will be valued in the future! I think we need to patience only.
ICO is now so many, almost every day appear, most of course garbage, not having prospects in the future, good projects worth looking for are based on their previous experience

I don't know two or three years ago, but so far some of the campaigns I'm in are good ones but I agree that there are projects that's looks good on paper but end up a failure, good projects cannot even reach the softcap because of the situation of the market but hopefully things will come out good before the end of the year.

This is a perfect overview on the current state. There's too much potential money in crypto sphere and more and more want to get some of that money. Fewer and fewer will be the ones actually well intended.

I think you should look for a good project then check whether they release a bounty campaign. It seems you joining the campaign later than other participants but it's better than joining a scam bounty campaign.

I quite agreed with most of the latest ICOs are a replica of the existing ones without any new idea, ICOs have now reach it peak the only alternative for investors is to research for an altcoin with a good project and invest rather than seeking to invest in a scrappy ICO which are rampant in bounty thread. Not all bounties today are garbage. There are still some profitable and legit bounties out there. Just do a further research for you to find a good ICO where you coild join. Maybe most of them are garbage but those which are not could be successful in the future.

And then just leave from this market and try to get your real job and you will be fine. So many people are only pegged with the bounty. Stop complain about that and it will not change anything. The market has very bad fundamental and sentiment. a lot of people are feeling scared caused by ETF has rejected in so many times.
Yes, Now I see a lot of garbage bounties but also a lot of bounty hunting programs really worth. I checked and selected 2 potential projects for make campaign. We are bounty hunter, it would be nice to pick the right one.

There are not many investors interested in the ICO because the ICO is not going to make any profit for them. And so the bounty will be nothing, The bounty hunters will not get anything if the ICO fails. And junk projects are always there to lure young investors Jump to:
