One fascinating aspect of altcoins, especially the good ones, is the potential for significant profits. I'm aware that not everyone agrees with this, as there are often arguments that altcoins are just another form of 'shitcoin' meant to deceive and exploit people, with Bitcoin being the only legitimate cryptocurrency.
It cannot be denied that this is true, altcoins can provide high profit potential, sometimes even extraordinary ones in just a short time. However, what is more complete is, altcoins also allow us to lose money very easily, in a short time. So in essence what happens to altcoins are high returns, high risks. So the results will depend on how we respond and take this tricky tactic in altcoins, based on experience and the right insight of course.
In my opinion new traders overestimate their capabilities in an extreme way, and this is because they believe themselves capable of selecting a coin that will skyrocket soon among the thousands of coins we have in the market, and that is crazy, as I am sure there are many people which have been part of this market for years which cannot do this and yet they believe themselves capable of doing it.
Maybe one of the reasons is because of the hype and also the massive news about these altcoins so that traders are sure that these coins will skyrocket. Because what has happened before is that they may have had extraordinary experiences with the benefits of trading altcoins like that. However, it is a shame that not all altcoins can have the same cycle. Because there are many altcoins that fail along the way and in the end they drop at an unpredictable time. it could even be said that they failed to develop. And this is indeed one of the risks when trading in altcoins where it is not certain whether they can survive or not in the market. In this case, the altcoins are new, not top altcoins which already have a high market cap and trading volume.
