I have left the bitcoin faucet. The faucet is now just a waste of time. Bitcoin is now high but the owner of the faucet lowers the value of its claims, many of which also do not pay.

I dont know much about faucet, I only used freebitcoin before. And by have been used this site, I can say no, it is getting more useful compared to previous time when bitcoin price is still cheap. Because this site gives you bitcoin depends on the fiat price of bitcoin. When bitcoin price increasing, it will give you smaller satoshi and otherwise. There will be time when it will give you not more than 0.1 sat LOL

people are using faucets thats why we see many faucets are there some of them are legit and some are scam definitely people are using them but the payout is very low you cant earn much for your time I think its working only for new bitcoin user to get started with bitcoin

maybe not. Faucets now gives small claims unlike before when I started claiming satoshi. Claiming free satoshi is fun because I get to earn a bit and that was year 2014-2015 but now, it keeps getting smaller. I think now claiming satoshi thru faucets is just a waste of time.

no, faucets are a waste of time and now that bitcoin price pump all the rewards in faucet are reduce. in the past they rewards 1 bitcoin per claim but that was in the past and the price of bitcoin that time was so low. and now they reward 5 to 100 satoshi or etc.. per claim per 1/5/10 minutes and you have to wait again to claim. the one that profit are not the claimer but the faucet owner.

It is still good, specially when you are starting in crypto and aiming to earn free bitcoin or other crypto curencies. But if you think about that, there is very little amount to earn in faucet, but if you have many referrals, it is easy to earn.

For me claiming free satoshi for a small amount now a day is not useful you waste your time for entering this faucet site while the owner of the site are earning a huge profit its better to claim a free altcoin than btc.
Some faucet site are reduce the amount of claiming and also adjust the time of claiming.

I think it's a waste of time I've visited a tap that has lowered its reward to a little even 20sats ,which means they equate bitcoin or altcoin with the dollar and lower the reward entirely

The business model of faucet is definitely facing challenges. Not only because the reward is fixed in fiat thus reduced in coin terms when the price of coin goes up, it will attract less user coming to use the faucet as it will take months even year to meet the minimum withdraw threshold. On the other hand, the increase in transaction cost also means that faucet can't afford to keep providing free withdraws or reduce minimum threshold thus drive away the user even further.

I think some faucet that provide interest may still be attractive to some user e.g. freebitco.in but as the core faucet function, it will be a waste of time for most users.

Have you even tried using a faucet before, OP? Because I have and I don't think it's worth it.

Based from my experience, I considered it as a total waste of time and effort because of the meager earnings I got from it. It's too time consuming and had too many ads. Even if bitcoin is of high value right now, faucets will only give you so little. The time and effort you give does not compensate to the amount you get. Unless you have great patience and unlimited resources and time, I would advice to stray away from faucets and to just use your time with other methods of earning bitcoin.

Yes, Faucets are big waste of time. it is better to consider spending your time here on this community working on a campaign than wasting your time on some scam faucet.

I have many friends doing faucets as of now, and i think yes it is profitable and useful since bitcoin faucet is very popular now and every 5 to 15 minutes you will claim satoshi easily that's why many people still doing this time even it some people saying doing faucet its waste of time.

With prices going high, I could say some time with faucets are quite worth it, but still a minimum cashout fee is needed to enable it and the amount of cash out fees will already eat up weeks or months you will put to it. I think that is the "waste of time" part of it. There are some paying application faucets out there. But the time you will out in to faucets will just be spent for cash out fees. So I recommend to stick with services here. It more worth it. Within months I think you can come up with higher incentives with quality work.

Each work has its own cost. If a person is satisfied with such payment for the time spent, then this is normal practice.

As price of BTC and others coins go up rewards on faucets are going down,it is normal thing and only way how to keep them alive.People are tell that faucets are waste of time from time when price of BTC was just few $ and they tell same thing today.

I start with faucets when price is around 200-250$ and with one great rotator which allow you have refs I make 300 000 - 500 000 satoshi day,so calculate how much time I waste in those days.Also many popular altcoins like LTC or DASH was only 3-4$ a year ago and you can make very nice amounts of that coins from faucets.

Today faucets pay very low if you watch only number of reward,but in long term every satoshi can worth xx or xxx time more then is today.Just take my example,300k satoshi back in 2014 is worth less then 1$,today that amount is worth around 48$.

How much 100 satoshi BTC will be worth in next 5-10 years?
