Dogecon is scrypt based. I don't think there are people mining Bitcoins with GPUs anymore.

p.s. dogecoin is the biggest scam around nowadays.

so hate. much puritan. such lack of humour

I Was not saying that Bitcoin miners are mining DogeCoin with ASIC material come on...but for sure Bitcoin miners are leaving Bitcoin mining for many reasons (high difficulty, Bitcoin price, material costs....) and many miners are going to DogeCoin (you can check by yourself)  currently the hashing power on DogeCoin is equivalent or more than any other alt currency.

PS : I'm not promoting a shitty coin i'm just relating a fact

That is the reason for the crash. You have found it :-) Coin with a dog face on it with already 9B coins in circulation will take over now.

Hi,
It's not a provocation but i noticed that miners are leaving Bitcoin for Dogecoin, +8billion dogecoin has been mined in only 10 days !! i think miners are doing this because DogeCoin has more potential to generate revenu than bitcoin , do you agree with this or it's just me ?
