Now you can find a company that will rent you a car even for bitcoin, it will not be difficult. But I use cars for rent offered on the site https://realcar.nyc/ - the best and cheapest way to order and rent a car. A choice of luxury cars with a driver is provided for you, your company or your loved ones. It all depends on your taste and needs.

Given the popularization of blockchain technology all over the world
I don’t know much about bitcoin logistics.
It seems that buying a car with Bitcoin is much easier than renting it with the same payment method.
Another website https://www.qeeq.com/rent-a-car-with-bitcoin, the advantage of this site is that it exercises decentralization as you don't need to input any of your financial details. There is also a high success of the payment as decentralized digital payment accepts not just bitcoin but also altcoins. In addition, there is also no hidden fees, so what you can see in the platform as it is will be how much you need to pay for renting a car.

I just don't like their refund system as it will be calculated using their own BBB rate. We might not know if we can really get the exact amount that we have deposited.
There's a site given here and i think worth checking before posting not so sure answers.

But it's indeed that renting cars using Bitcoin is not that easy than buying new one.

It’s no more a news that’s meant organizations are now accepting bitcoin as a payment option and we have witnessed the these developments in the transportation industry like the flight payment using bitcoin and also in payment of hotel accommodation. I’m yet to know any Bitcoin car rental service and if ther is any available in my location i will be glad and can’t wait to use the service.

Expedia only does hotels, btctrip only does flights and hotels, CheapAir does flights, hotels and car rentals but when I went to book a car rental it said I must pay when I get there. Paying with a credit card when traveling is chalk full of fees I would rather not pay. Are there any other options for paying with Bitcoin?

Although car rentals are a big thing when you are traveling to European countries and American States, I still think that paying with Bitcoin is not yet mainstream enough to be used in car rentals because most owners wants the people renting out their cars to be able to pay in cash since that is the easiest way to see if a person renting your car is legitimate. Its also good to see someone bring up this idea and it would be possible in the near future that some car owners would open up this type of payment.

There are 10 car companies accepting Bitcoin and only one rental company E-Z Rent A Car.

Given the popularization of blockchain technology all over the world, there are now a lot of projects that offer you various services for which you can pay with cryptocurrency is no exception, and car rental, I know several projects that are engaged in this, but they only offer luxury car rental

I've rented a Range Rover in Milan last month via https://lurento.com. You can pay for rent in BTC, the exchange rate is OK  Cool
But keep in mind!!!! No matter how you pay a credit card is required  Huh for excess/deductible (authorization).

Yes I know I'm quoting a 2 year old reply and the author will probably never see this.

But I just checked out Lurento's website and I'm pretty impressed with their lineup. They don't lease to North America or UK but they have a short list of cities they can lease cars too.

Paris, Frankfurt, Athens, Nice, Florence, Milan, Zurich, Geneva, Barcelona, Naples, Vienna, Monaco, Rome, Berlin, Lisbon, Munich, Marbella, Malaga and Dubai are all destinations they lease to. They're all beautiful cities too, who can argue with that  Cheesy too bad I don't live in any of them.

Their rates are pretty decent too, I can rent a Ferrari 488 Spider 3.9 V8 for €548/day. A Mercedes-Benz A-Class goes for €80/day. Their blog is not lively, and I don't think it ever was, but still kicking two years later.

I think the issue in starting a car rental operation in North America and UK is that you have to import a fleet of luxury cars from factories in continental Europe and I imagine that it's expensive. I mean you can't just drive the things over to the garage, they have to be transported overseas too so that limits the number of cars they can import for budget reasons. I imagine bitcoin volatility doesn't make this any better but fortunately we've been rather stable for the past few weeks.

We need more car rental ops like Lurento. Not a paid post or anything just my honest opinion  Smiley

There are probably some companies that accept car rental paid in BTC. But, it will depend on certain countries. As we know, not all countries legalize BTC as the payment method. So, basically, you must know first whether it is legal or not in the country.

I have checked this, but unfortunately, they do not accept BTC as payment for car rental.

The preferred method of payment is a major credit card. Debit cards may be accepted; however, additional processing (such as a credit check) may be required by the car company.
This can be seen from the link

Actually, Qeeq.com may be a choice. You can check the reviews here .
It accepts BTC and other cryptos as payment. However, before deciding to pick this, please check and crosscheck the information based on the negative and positive reviews as attached above. Some customers feel so satisfied with the services and everything about this. But some were also very mad about the service, payment, application, and more.

I don't think Expedia continues the service with bitcoin acceptance. Soon after the initial days of bitcoin acceptance Expedia quit the service, because they didn't gained much revenue through bitcoin as they expected. When it comes to car rental with bitcoin acceptance, it is hard to find.

I think it is possible to develop a project that is about bitcoin taxis, and I think this may be very marketable, especially in places like Japan and South Korea that allow bitcoin to circulate.

I've heard of online payments for bitcoin and bitcoin for hotels, but I have not heard of car rentals yet, and maybe there will be related platforms coming up.

For countries where the country still prohibits bitcoin, it does not matter if it does, because bitcoin can not be used now in life.

Bandago is a leader in car rental services and the first car rental company to accept bitcoin payments. Accepting digital cryptocurrencies as one of the payment options is not only more user-friendly, but it is also led by a whole new digital money industry.

yeah, tough to get around the credit card factor. unless a company started accepting a large deposit, but that is far from the industry standard

Thats the only link I could find too. But doesn't look like there are any services or any merchants in that industry.

Visit this site https://bitcoin.travel/ and you will learn where and how to rent a car for BTC and also get some travel services for Bitcoins. Here is the information for those who travel by car in the USA:
