Hi!

Are there any besides Nitrogen? It is so hard to find trustworthy sportsbook who accepts bitcoin(or BCH would be best) and has eSports in theirs offer. I have been using Betcoin and mBitcasino but they seem bit fishy.  Even site like fairlay which is crypto only has KYC procedure... and i don't get it.

Degens.com is a betting exchange that uses the stablecoin DAI. It requires no KYC and is non custodial.

If you want to spread the word about your site, don't bump an old thread here. It's a necrobumping.

There's a notice while you are typing your reply and you ignored it.

Basically, don't be worried about KYC. It's not a mandatory requirement on most gambling sites. We are not yet on the period wherein the centralization of most crypto gambling sites will be forcibly implemented.

Everything is completely relative. It will just depend on how much you win. If you win little, I don't think they'll ask for a KYC anytime soon. If you hit the jackpot, or have a lot of winnings, then the trouble may well start. This will differ per bookmaker / casino and I don't think there is a fixed guideline for this. It's a matter of reputation and experience indeed to see which casinos use a KYC for which amount. Maybe nice to set up a table with the help of user experiences.

KYC is surely a problem to most of the gamblers out there as we like to play without submitting any credential as it is just a hassle in our side where we want to gamble only. I haven't use Nitrogen yet but I see that they are trustworthy as you have experienced already in  using it.

You can try, cloudbet. I've been using it for quite a while already and I was able to use it without submitting any KYC, I am no so sure whether it will work also to big bettors.

It is also important what kind of reputation a site has. You can write whatever you want in the terms about kyc procedure, but as long as the bookmaker has a good reputation (stories can checked easily on the internet) then that should be a better gauge to decide which site you are going to play on. For me, I also look how a site is looking, if the software is decent and professional, all important points.

Most of the bitcoin focused casino doesn't required users to undergo KYC however when you look at some of their terms and services they can still ask KYC if they found you suspicious. You can try visit some Sportsbook one by one and look their terms and conditions to verify it.

I played on sportbet.io , they accept BTC and as far as i played last time( more than 8 months ago) they didn't take KYC for Payouts.
So you can give it a check and can ask their live support about their any changes in the withdrawal process or not.

You can moreover bet on stake.com which also has sports betting options. They too do not take KYC for processing the winnings.

But it's always better to ask the support team at a particular site and enquire about all the details before depositing a single penny.

Leading Crypto Sports Betting & Casino Platform
Cloudbet earlier had the KYC free access on sports betting. It also had the live betting access once after the closing of directbet, which is the most trusted gambling platform without KYC in the earlier days. Now almost every gambling website has got KYC to be fulfilled. In recent days I find casineos to be close to be anonymous, because everything is integrated with blockchain.

I am on Bitsler for a week, and it's very nice casino! From recently they have sport book! So it's one of the good places for people who like to gamble and bet on sports using crypto, the list of coins they accept is long.
Check this nice review: https://www.btcgosu.com/review/bitsler/. What is the main issue with KYC ? Why is it so bad and frowned upon by people ? Can't it prevent misbehavior by users and be a positive thing in some of the cases ?

My guess is that its often a trust issue. Not everybody is keen on sending their personal information to strangers, especially unlicensed ones. If the platform is "trusted" and licensed, users would be less apprehensive about sending in their IDs. Crypto-currency gambling exploded with the promise of keeping their users anonymous. but that is no longer the case, some of them use KYC as an excuse to keep deposits. Nitrogen has been the best non-kyc book so far, with fair odds. coinbet24.com has been great in that regard, but their odds are horrible.

Exactly it's a trust issue. Bitcoin allowed us to take this out of the equation, and centralized crypto exchanges, centralized BTC sports books, etc etc etc, have spent years trying to bring it back in.

But BookiePro is built ON a blockchain... so it is decentralized all the way through. That's why there is no KYC...
That's just wrong.Building on blockchain doesn't mean the service won't ask for the KYC documents. They games, provable fair mechanism would be on the chain but I'm sure they will imply rules since humans would be playing behind the screen.A simple example would be allowing multiple accounts. If they don't keep a track,a lot of players would create multiple accounts and cheat. This is just a mere instance where rules need to be applied explicitly even if the casino is based on the blockchain.
Its good if they are already aware on such possible scenario to happen but it is really prone to abuse and multi-accounting and i agree that there should be an immediate rules for this one if none then we do know the possible situations might happen ahead. There are still some Sportsbook who arent asking out for KYC unless on some circumstances which you do really need to comply if been asked.

A lot can be said in both ways. KYC prevents some cases of misuse and cheating, but in the same way you should ask for it from the very start (the registration) and not wait for people to gamble and IF they win and want to withdraw ask them for KYC. With all the new regulations all over the world, everything a company does should be completely transparent because trust goes both ways.
