I was wondering today that if there are casino that started accepting crypto as payment and if someone wants to payback in crypto, are there any casinos available.
According to me I have not heard anything yet but in future this might happen cause when crypto adoption will come than we might see these Casino bosses to accept crypto and other alts.
What are your thoughts on this?

I can't remember a physical casino that already accepts and support crypto-payment on their respective casino but out of thousands of physical casinos out there globally, maybe there is even 1 in some popular gambling places like Vegas, Macau, or those gambling place that are on their level.

Maybe a quick search on your favorite search engine will help you.

What's this for by the way? Why do you want to know if there's a physical casino accepting crypto payments?

Want to see if global adoption in crypto now taking place at a much higher level?

Used a combination of keywords to see if Google can come out with at least one but there is none I guess Cryptocurrency is not fully adopted by casino operators because they are heavily regulated and they are strictly compliance with the laws and of course accounting is very hard because of changing of the price, especially in the bear market, Cryptocurrency is very suited for online transactions especially for casinos but for physical casinos there's a little complication.

Land-based? More likely this exist on countries wherein both gambling industry and cryptocurrency are allowed by the government. So don't expect such thing to exist on countries wherein support to both industries are missing. If you are really into gambling and cryptocurrency, online platforms would be best.
I haven't heard of any physical casinos that accept crypto as a means of payment because usually physical casinos accept fiat as payment or stakes. This may be due to regulations from the local government that has not allowed the use of crypto in many places of business so the casinos have not started either. But if the regulations legalize crypto to be used as a means of payment and people can use it freely, casinos may try to introduce it to the public. Maybe some countries have allowed crypto as a payment method in addition to fiat, but casinos have not used it. It looks like it's waiting for more adoption of cryptocurrencies that could attract attention from governments or others.or
but we cannot tell , maybe  in the future or sooner mate that there will be casino to operate with crypto acceptance , though the only issue here is the government interference yet it will be possible in time.

also there are lot of bitcoin atm in casino houses , but still they are not accepting this to be money to use in betting .
If that is the future, casinos could also accept payments from crypto for betting, especially if the adoption process improves so that people will see crypto's potential benefits. But as long as the government's interference is too strict and they don't immediately give permission to use crypto for various things, we may still have to wait a while. And in the meantime, we better enjoy gambling in crypto casinos and not use fiat to gamble if we don't want to have a bad experience or something.
This is possible IF land based gambling industry would choose to adopt this technology as their mode of payment. I do go on land based casinos before and most of the people there (on my country) are not even aware of what cryptocurrency is. I do not blame them from doing so because cryptocurrencies has just began to emerge over countries. Also, I accept the idea that not all people are into too risky investment especially those industries trying to seek for stability on their profit. Given that more accessible estanlishments and businesses as majority, are not yet into this technology, it is not surprising that 'exclusive' industry such as in gambling, would be able to recognize cryptocurrencies in an instant.
Crypto adoption in land-based casinos still needs more time because casino operators are not yet ready to implement crypto in their establishments. For now, crypto has not been universally accepted in all businesses, and only a few businesses are willing to accept it. But in the future, crypto will definitely be accepted when the adoption process is even better than it is now. So we still only use online casinos to play crypto gambling and don't need to wait for crypto to be implemented in land-based casinos because that can apply in the future.

I don't think there's a live casino right now that offers cryptocurrency bets, if they do there'd be an upsurge of cryptogamblers that will come flocking to them all for support and well, convenience. However, it's not too ambitious to think that they are considering accepting cryptocurrency payments and bets, especially now that the number of cryptocurrency users increase every year. Just give it time and maybe urge a couple of these live casinos to do so and it may happen within our lifetimes. Although there'd be an issue with the exchange system given the fact that they are using fiat for every single activity within their systems. Then again this could be solved in the foreseeable future, crypto is a very versatile and solution-based currency, it can happen.

Most crypto betting sites that pay in the unit you deposited too. Seems the most logical to me. I think most gambling sites have a large supply of bitcoins, other cryptocurrencies that are less popular will only have a part of them available. Otherwise, as a gambling site you could possibly also have problems that users try to launder money and that kind of practice is of course not allowed. Perhaps different sites have a different view on this and approach it.

It's a good thing that you are thinking along this line, as of now, I don't think there is any physical casino that accepts or pays out in cryptocurrency. But, it will be wonderful and interesting to see a cryptocurrency-based casino, but I don't see it happening anytime soon though.

There are already some casinos that accept cryptocurrency and pay using it in countries areas where cryptocurrency is being adopted. I haven't heard of any local casinos that accept cryptocurrency in our area but will be more interested if they will consider it in the future. I believe that we aren't far from that since the government is planning to have our country as the blockchain capital of Asia. I hope that physical casinos will see the importance of cryptocurrency and will also adopt it in the coming years.

I am guessing you are talking about physical casinos where you walk in, because there are ton of live dealers in the internet accepting crypto. However i don't see much significant advance of not having fiat money in the middle of it as it's liquid like no other form of payment.
And you are gambling with casino tokens anyway, it's not like you would be gambling directly with crypto on physical casino.

And you can cash in your casino tokens and buy crypto or sell your crypto, and buy those casino tokens with your fiat money. It's not the same, but if physical casino accepted crypto payments they would most likely sell your deposit instantly and convert it to physcal tokens that represent fiat money and that you could cash out in fiat money.

From the view point of casino just the taxation issues of it all would be nightmare addon of extra work. And just to deal with old timers and explain the liability issues / risks of having their own wallets and what crypto should they choose or not to choose if they don't want to lose everything would be a hard job.

In the internet it works with crypto natives, so maybe it will come to casinos some day when people are demanding it and experienced enough.

I guess the same way maybe he is talking about the physical and the traditional casinos, if he is talking about these casinos, as far as i know, they won't accept any bitcoin or cryptocurrencies for their business unless you exchange to fiat or they have done the paper works with their governments to do that, however, you can maybe find some illegal and unrated casinos where you can use the cryptocurrencies as a payment method, but regardless of what we see right now, I guess we can see even physical casinos doing this in the future.

I'm not getting this your topic very straight but if you're referring the live casino to be online then I wish to inform you that, there are hundreds if not thousands of crypto casinos available and already in existence and they also accept a whole lot of cryptos.
But I guess you were referring to the physical casinos and yes I haven't also seen one physical casino that accept that accepts crypto and this to me is so because of the dominance of fiat and poor acceptance of crypto in most countries and some of this withdrawal and deposit might require some extra charges and in my country, people wouldn't want to risk a dime on charges rather than using it to gamble more.

i never went to live casino because in my country it is strictly forbidden any gambling so there is no such casino but online casino anyway i prefer to use my phone to play casino BTW maybe in a country where gambling is legal i think they accept bitcoin payment but no way for other cryptos, but I think they will also cash out into fiat currency because basically they prefer fiat money over bitcoin, but it might be available for gamblers who don't carry cash to be able to use bitcoin in their wallet to gamble in casinos as a convenience measure  Wink

When I saw the thread title, I was hoping to find out that some physical casino in the world accepts Bitcoin, but I see from the responses that it does not. I heard about Las Vegas, but I see that what they have are ATMs for you to change to cash. In that case it is logical, I understand, for for legal prudence and accounting simplicity.

But what about casinos in El Salvador? It is legal to tender there, so they must accept bitcoin. Does anyone know anything?

Cryptocurrency is very popular here in our country but our government-run casinos do not yet accept Cryptocurrency for deposit and payout, checking other member posts I only see one, and its located in Las Vegas the gambling capital of the world, there's no need for the casinos to accept Cryptocurrency they can just install a Bitcoin  ATM, and besides they do not want the hassle of volatility they want cold cash for easy transaction and of course taxation and accounting.

As far as I know, physical casinos aren't accepting crypto payment just yet because of the process it will take them to establish such. I guess it isn't the priority yet of the casino owners since most casino players and goers are still comfortable with paying with actual cash or thru their debit or credit cards. But if you are referring to online casinos, there are already numerous sites that accept crypto as payment method. You can search here in the forum to check for it. I know there's a thread already about it.

Casino adopting crypto as payment method isn't impossible. It's most likely to happen in the future especially due to the reason that blockchain is becoming more widely used and crypto as payment method offers a convenience for those people who have coins stored in their wallet they can easily access anytime and anywhere.

I don't request loans~
I don't think there are, and even if there were, I suppose they are rather abysmal in numbers. Crypto casinos are mainly focused online since crypto is a digital method/form of payment so they focus on that, and most of them have built their reputation online and not offline, so I don't think they'd bother making brick-and-mortar casinos in the future. As for current brick-and-mortar casinos accepting crypto, if countries don't legally accept it I don't think they could pass that as an option, and even if the country did, seeing as crypto adoption is on the low side, I don't think they'd bother adding it for now.

There was a pretty old article that stated some casinos accepting Bitcoin as payment
Quote
The Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and The D Casino Hotel were the first brick-and-mortar casinos to enter this space. The Downtown Las Vegas properties started taking Bitcoin payments in January 2014 at the following locations:
I don't know if they still are, but they're part of the rare ones imo.

We may need more time to see if that will happen soon because physical casinos still use fiat for people who want to gamble.
But it could also depend on the adoption process in one place and how accepted crypto is.
If crypto is well accepted and many local shops use crypto, the casino may also use crypto.
For the time being, we only use crypto to gamble in online casinos because many of us are gambling in these online casinos.
