I love it. It's simple and to the point.

It needs more questions and answers which will take some time but I hope someday it is able to provide all the answers regarding Bitcoin in a way that is easy for newbies to understand, who have lots of misunderstandings about how things work.

If this is done right, the site could work as a Bitcoin 'FAQ'
Good luck with your site, if I see a video that answers a question well, I'll submit it there.

Thank you. I appreciate your feedback.

If you are aware of any glaringly-omitted questions that I should have in there, please let me know and I will add them.

I like it, simple and easy to understand.  Reminds me of the bitcoinceo site idea but yours is better since you are using many peoples answers.  Also video answers are much better vs just text.

Thank you! I am trying to make it so simple that you could show this site to your parents and they will come away understanding Bitcoin better than before. I figured videos are the best way to "spoon feed" people information.

Please tell me what you think. Construction criticism only please.

http://www.BitcoinAnswered.com

I'm doing this purely as an aide to the Bitcoin community.

My goal is to create a place where all mis-information can be cleared up with excellent explanations.

There are not a lot of answers yet, but I want to fill it up. Feel free to contribute if you know of a spot-on YouTube video answer for something Smiley

April 11, 2015 Update: Just redesigned the site to an orange color scheme.

I think it would help if there are words and statements put in to describe the videos. That would be in the SEO part. Also you can consider putting in a search function or maybe a collapsible menu to help navigation.

Thanks for the ideas. I have the search function on a list of things to-do. Once there's enough answers I may implement that.

I know what you mean by the words and statements (like a transcript) to describe the videos. But I really want people to watch the videos and not try to gather the meaning from my description or transcript. I do understand the SEO aspect however. Also, I don't want to spend a lot of time typing descriptions (or even worse yet entire transcripts) for each entry.

Bitcoin isn't a bubble. It's the pin!
It s always nice to see a website which can help people get informed about BTC and promote crypto in general. I would suggest if you could add some video and a bit more graphics. All in all, great idea, keep up the good work.

I agree, It would be nice too if you added some videos. But so far this is a great site and ill be sure to show it to people i introduce to bitcoin Smiley Thanks for creating it!

I don't quite understand. Videos are the main content. You just have to click a "+" to see them. Did you not do that?

Oh man, I didn't notice you could click on the + sign lol. Sorry about that. IMO you have added great videos to answer the questions Smiley

You should also contribute to the Bitcoin Stack Exchange site so that it becomes a full site and not just a beta.
Cool. I didn't know that existed.

Nice idea. You need moderation tho, in case some trolls take the site with stupid answers/questions. Also, unless im doing something wrong, it didn't properly load on my phone (Android with default browser). Can you make a mobile version? for old ass phones like mine would help.

Right now it's fully moderated by myself. I review all submissions to ensure the quality of the content is high. This way trolls or spammers cannot add content.

I just redesigned it. See if it looks better on your Android phone now.

First of all, thank you for all the feedback and constructive criticism. I really appreciate it.

It looks like the #1 point brought up is that the design needs work. So I just redesigned it. I hope you feel it is an improvement.

My skill-set includes PHP, CSS, Javascript and HTML. I would use getbootstrap but I don't know how to use linux.

Really nice idea, here are is my feedback on it :

Choose a different design, the design you have right now is old school and old use a flat modern design and put more color in it. Change the font, add a more energetic font that makes both answers and questions more interesting for the user. Add simpler questions like "What is bitcoin ?" or "Who the heck is Satoshi Nakamoto ? " also the logo is just too big use a smaller version something simple and recognizable. If you need help with the design  let me know I could help you with it. Overall it[s a useful website  for newbies. Good luck with the project Cheesy !

Thanks for all that feedback. I made the logo a bit smaller, changed all fonts, added more color and redesigned the layout to look more modern. What do you think now? I would be glad for any design help you wish to offer.

Is there going to be a way to submit questions as well?

Yes, it can be done with the same submission process as the "answer a question" link.

Is there going to be a way to submit questions as well?

Some of them, such the worst investment of 2014 one, aren't relevant to someone who's just looking to have their curiosity sated.

And maybe there should be some sort of pinned summary of what Bitcoin is as the top or a link to one. The site addresses misconceptions but doesn't offer some more positive answers about how the reader can benefit from it.

Interesting.  Like https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Myths but for a less knowledgable audience, using video, and referencing events.

I don't know where the "Bitcoin CEO" and "Bitcoin when bankrupt" points came from.  I've not heard people making these accusations.  Perhaps you could flesh the list out a bit.  Off the top of my head:
  • How can Bitcoin be trusted when no-one even knows who the inventor is?
  • MYTH: Bitcoin is centralised because mining is dominated by a handful of large pools.
  • Doesn't Bitcoin waste a lot of electricity?  My friend says it's not environmentally friendly.
  • MYTH: Ultimately, all bitcoins can be traced and all transactions are public.

Actually, that last one might better be omitted as it runs into technical territory.  Perhaps it's wise to stick with the "beginner's objections" theme.

Also, transcripts would be good.

Well, I like the design... It's simple and to the point.

Here is another nice presentation but it's sort of generic introduction by power players in the ecosystem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pWblf8COH4

The design needs work.  I suggest using Bootstrap.

Agree with this, design needs alot of work.
