The most stable coin for the past few months has been Goldcoin (GLD). But that's soon about to change!

In the past few months it oscillated between 1200 and 3500 satoshis, it's not bad but stable is an overstatement Tongue

This is a 180-day chart. I haven't found any coin that's been more stable.  Smiley

Peercoin has approximately the same value as it had last month, that's quite stable.

+1 drk
however there are old established coins with communities - like feather or world or even hobo, but there will be no future with no merchant support - that should be done by devs promotions...

Monero is the only coin that is not Bitcoin that i have for long term. Other coins do have decent devs but im not sure if they have a legitimate space in the market.

LTC is probably the only alt coin which is worth having a look at. there is discussion on their thread about other competing alt coins but I don't think anything compares to LTC.
LTC has no features though. Take a look at DRK.

what can you buy with DRK?

Not much merchant right now but I believe it will in the future. DRK is new.
