If you want to make some profit in a short period of time short term investment is good for you but it depends to the coin that you already have. But for me right now long term investment is more better because you can get more money than the short term investment
It is clear to me that you can make a lot more money by trading for the long term than trading for the short term, but people have a lot of problems dealing with stuff that is beyond their ability to see in the future, short term profits are attractive because of it, because they can get profits in a matter of hours or days instead of months or even years if you are a long term trader.

I doubt it that you can make 20%-50% for short term basis. It's not impossible but its going to be tough for someone. Usually you can get 5%-10% and if you are going to chase more than that, you are into higher risk so I don't usually push short termers into that amount if they don't know what they are doing. For experts, 20%-50% is kind of a challenge but its possible.

I think that this question is inappropriate in the current state of the cryptocurrency market. The fact is that the opportunity to make a profit every day with the help of trade has decreased several times.
