Ditto. My wife hates it when I discuss Bitcoins, especially at parties with friends (I have lots of nerdy friends all all working in software engineering, so it's not actually that unusual of a topic).

I recently got my little sister into BitCoin though, so there's females out there that like BitCoin.

My daughter is the one that got me into bitcoin. She started buying them at $0.40 each and quickly saw her purchase make several hundred dollars. She lost interest after her first big loss due to a scammer.

She insisted that I buy her a mining computer. I was very skeptical about bitcoin but really fascinated by the technology. So I made a large minning farm that has been heating my house for the last two years.

Before she stopped trading bitcoins she borrowed $10,000 from me to buy 520 bitcoins at about $20 each. For years we thought we would never get that investment back. We just sold them for about $50,000 and used the proceeds to pay off her student loans.
