Hell yeah... Its coming real soon...I sold all mine.. waiting to rebuy at $85

You must be young, expecting to react fast enough to catch it before it's out of reach again. If there is a rebound, it's likely to be strong.

Enjoy the low rate, buy what you can lose / are willing to gamble, there are plenty of companies that have millions backing them based on Bitcoin and have an interest in it succeeding. This is just a dump of Bitcoin and panic of people who do not understand stock market trading etc.

Things will turn around, just buy in amounts that are good for you, spread out throughout the day / days. People always say how sorry they are that they didn't buy Bitcoin when they first heard of it, now is you chance to get cheap Bitcoin, take it. Don't come up with a "I wish I had" when the rate stabilizes.

Everyone remember that Microsoft is now accepting BTC? Cheesy

Under 100 definitely possible in fact i'd say its likely given no bounce at even <200

soon we will see 100

but not very soon

i already said that it will be 50 USD until the of the month Smiley

the price will fall more tomorrow or after tomorrow after Bitfinex and Coinbase will start selling a lot of Bitcoin. it will be fun.

I don't think bitcoin will drop under 100, the bottom was 160 and that's it.

Thanks for your thorough analysis.

Well, the price took a dive below 160.

BitStamp day's range: $152.40 - $230.89.

I was watching BitStamp this morning and seen the price going from ~190 to below 160 within few minutes, then it bounced back to over 180.

I've got a strong feeling it's something more than panic selling and miners dumping.

Could it be "satoshit" dumping the living shit out of his massive premine. I'm wondering what would happen if btc just crumbles to the ground. Will that be the end of all crypto's?

It is not Satoshi. It is BFL. And the dumping is taking place due to a court order to refund people's money...

The Court would not Order them to sell all BTC at an increased loss for the creditors.
The responsible thing to do would be to sell as lots, like what the United States Federal Government did with Silk Road coins.
The Court doesn't want to recoup a penny on the dollar for the creditors.

it won't regain (at least this year)
another  80,000 BTC seized will be sold next month so the market will be flooded. There are no buyers, no demand...
the price will hit 10 usd very soon.

miners are living the boat. the BIG exchangers are cashing out. the fools will remain with the "Bitcoin" Smiley

The fundamentals are the same as ever. I'm mostly outside of BTC in Bitcoin2.0 interests atm but I still value it.

What's caused this drop? Merchants doing what they should at this point; PoW causing minor stress; taxes due; ponzis; small hacks?

All seems a little over done.. noob panic perhaps?? I remember when watching BTC price was fun.

So exactly why would this be an issue?
Do you want to buy your coins rather at $10 000 than $100? This is much better for entry users.

About 30% of Bitcoins haven't moved in over two years, and are assumed to have been lost in the early days of Bitcoin. If anything moved from those addresses, it would be noticed.
