There is probably a thread somewhere that explains when / how  newbie becomes a jr. member becomes a full-grown frog, etc.

Ive been hovering on the side for sometime now and am dissapointed to miss out on the ripple giveaway. Is anyone keen to swap some for litecoins.

YES, I´m a newbie and the is one of my biggest questions about BTC:

What gives me a safe feeling when I pay someone with BTC?
I get his wallet adress, send the money - and then?

Nobody knows who this guy is and he can waltz off with those BTC and I won´t get my item or whatever I ordered.

If I use regular bank wire I at least know his name, right?

Have I missed an argument?

noobjail sucks so bad
It's not fantastic.

Just a suggestion that won't get read by anyone, it would help if the Newbie board was at / near the top of the list of forums so that it's immediately obvious for noobs where they have to go.

+1

and no, I didn't read this...

Me too.  I ordered a BFL Single (mini-single?) 25 Gh/s, but no way of knowing when or if that will ever get shipped.  Figured I could go in on 5-10 of these eruptor sticks, but I cannot post to request some.

Long time lurker, but I wanted to get into some group buys for the block Erupter USB sticks, and that requires the ability to post.

This sounds interesting - given that I'm new to the forum as well, it seems like as good a place as any to begin the posting requirements!

Thanks Cheesy
