This is amazing, because with some banks already accepting Bitcoin, Bitcoin is indirectly accepted by the public, just waiting for the right time to make Bitcoin legal throughout the country.

I know some banks are o.k with BTC but other banks also like to use Ripple for fast transactions, so they are slowly warming up to the idea that finite money is better than the money their central banks print out that lose their value year in and year out. Now the US dollar is going down the pan I bet many Americans will decide to buy Bitcoin, so it would be the right time for the SEC to approve the Vaneck ETF by early next year. Let's see how more and more banks react as Bitcoin becomes more mass adopted and accessible by people.

I personally think the whole idea with Bitcoin was, to bypass institutions like Banks or third party payment systems and to be a alternative for these systems. People must remember that these services were part of the problem and this is why Satoshi developed this payment system, to improve on these payment systems and to ultimately replace them.

We do not need Banks to destroy pseudo-anonymity with all their KYC/AML rubbish. ^hmmmm^
Crypto currency will not be able to completely do without banking services. Banks may well provide services for the purchase, sale and exchange of crypto currency. In this I do not see anything wrong. Here there was information that banks also accept bitcoin for deposit storage, which is news to me, I thought that they would not do this because of the large price volatility of bitcoins. I would be interested to know which banks accept bitcoin for deposit storage - state or commercial. I think that only commercial banks can risk this way.

Yes, here in my country some banks accept bitcoin I know someday bitcoin will accept all over the countries it is an alternative money to use and easy to carrry

That is good for you so you can use this chance to sell your bitcoin to the banks. But I wonder can we exchange directly bitcoin to local fiat because if this is available, then it will make us get the short way to convert the bitcoin to the fiat. And if this is works, then I think we don't need the third party service that always helps us to convert to the fiat, and I am sure that the other country will follow the progress and try to do the same thing as in your country.

No banks will give us accounts, To this day, I still can’t get a UK bank account which is a pain in the neck.
A whole sector has been shunned by the five banks. If you do anything to do with crypto, like making software or working on Bitcoin ATMs, they won’t have anything to do with you.

yes, i am very much aware some banks has started receiving bitcoin as a deposit and means of paymment. This is a great development as it will enhance the credibility and the adoption of it worldwide, we just hope it cut across all nations of the world in no time. Nevertheless, it might make bitcoin become  regulated and taxed.
I'm really looking forward to the time when as many countries start taking bitcoin. I'm sure it will exactly happen, but I wonder when it will happen

Yo guys,
Are you aware that there is some banks that accept Bitcoin like Neteller or Skrill? I just discovered it so I was surprised. You can deposit your Bitcoin and use your Bank/Credit card to withdraw.
Now,it doesn't matter if Paypal adopt Bitcoin or not since it's primary competitors have already done so.*
What do you think?
I'm also surprised, I have not heard of this news before. Although for me it is not surprising, I have always been confident in Bitcoin Smiley

Well, Neteller and Skrill are not actualy banks and the fact that they accept Bitcoin is not a new thing. They are more online payment services or providers that among others enable Bitcoin related services.
Actualy they act similar like Bitcoin debit card providers.
Officialy there is still no bank that accepts Bitcoin or provides Bitcoin related services but if you ask me it's just the question of time.

I still don't realize that the bank has now received bitcoin, but I am very happy to hear if some banks have received bitcoin. And I hope banks around the world also accept bitcoin because it can facilitate the transaction process.

in many countries this practice is already taking place in real time. but as a rule, the government of these countries is tuned to new technologies and these countries do not play a big role in geopolitics.
This is really a great news for all of us, here in our country banks are not yet accepting bitcoin and they are not yet in favor with it as for them it is a threat, which should not be right? But still we need to give time for them to realize that instead of competing in bitcoin they should come up with an idea how they will get involve with it.

In fact, there are signs that banks are beginning to consent to Bitcoin transactions. Banks are now actively promoting the use of Bitcoin, by providing future Bitcoin deals and allowing money transfers to and from the exchange.

Are you serious? some banks accept Bitcoin? As far as I know, the bank is allergic to Bitcoin. They just trade/transact in fiat currency that is supported by the government only. In fact, even though Bitcoin is a legitimate payment in some countries, traditional banks do not directly deal with Bitcoin, there are intermediaries that convert Bitcoin to local currency and vice versa.

Oh really? that exist now? It was a great news indeed! That situation is an evidence that bitcoin is now truly being accepted by everyone. The banks that labeled as the enemy or one of the institute that against the legalization of bitcoin is now accepting and welcoming the usage of it. I only knew that some banks allowed the conversion of bitcoin into fiat but not totally encouraging them. It was so cool that they are now open to bitcoin.
