Well my main reason of buying bitcoin is just hold it for the future.
Because you will never know what will happend. And in this rate Bitcoin is a good source of money. If you want to save. For me atleast.

I usually get my bitcoins through selling digital stuffs and working for it but I do buy sometimes when the price is falling down, then will sell it eventually when the price hits my certain goal.
You will sell all the coins next year after or before the block halving? I think you're better off by just selling 50% at most instead of everything. The price will go higher and higher. When you sell everything you might regret it when you see the price is going up and up. Just think about it.

However, I see no good reason to say that Bitcoin is expensive, especially when you compare Bitcoin's marketcap with the marketcap of other assets.For short term profits, it may not be a good idea to invest in it. But for long term performance, it will be really difficult to find an asset with more potential than Bitcoin.
I do not buy Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is now high value, fluctuate quite high. So the risk is very high. I bought ETH and Litecoin.
