personally im not dissappointed on my trading
most of the times im dissappointed on those developers and some trading platforms

Actually I am not that disappointed to trading specially on a certain scenario that happens to in selling my coins not in a right time, but to think of it I am really disapointed with the wrong decisions I did sometimes. From that previous experience I had It was a wrong trade decisions which I sold my coins with a lower price, then after few 4 days price has been pumping up. Regrets is there already and you cannot buy back because price has come to accelerate going up. That really gave me a good lessons despite of the disappointments I had felt before, so better hold your investments and be always updated.
to me I think that some time when people lose money in trading continuously they become disappointed, but I think despite of becoming disappointed they need t change their strategy or planning. though this way I am sure that your lost will change into profit and you will get a good number of bitcoin after some time.

Trading is a lot of work and it requires a lot of patience. You have to be willing to wait for a good profit after a buy before you make a sell. It helps if you have been trading for a while because you get more used to the fluctuations in Bitcoin price.
Yeah you're correct. If you want to go in the trading world make sure that you have a lot of patience. If you will buy coins make sure that you can hold it in months or even years before you trade it.

You have to know your limits and your goals that should be realistic. People often begin with trading without enough knowledge thinking they will become rich over night and make the huge profit. But things are not going smooth every time, they suffer loses and at the end they get disappointed. You have to know what you can, how much you can afford to lose and what is the realistic profit you can earn and then you will not be disappointed.

I am also the first time in trading do not have knowledge and always lost. but all of that is learning and experience. so I can get better. There are always disappointed in trading, but I never give up.

Good attitude. If I may add, you also need a lot of patience in trading because in the beginning you will really face a lot problems and losses. And its very hard to swallow and very disappointing. Sometimes you want to give up already because its going nowhere. But if you have a never give up attitude, chances are, you may likely to succeed in the future. And let experience be your teacher so that you can't make the same mistake twice.

I know I have been there in that kind of situation before. Its so frustrating but I never give up trading and now I'm making good money out of it.

you should have a second plan or reserve amount for it.
if you get loss from one  window you should have something for second window. investing your whole amount in one basket is such a foolish thing and start trading without any previous experience and than starting with a huge amount is madness. if you are experienced and well understands all the ethics than thing are pretty easy and less chances of getting loss.

Disappointments cant really be removed when doing trading since we dont really like to lose up money on anything that we do and its really been part of trading of making losing trades specially on common instances like price crash on all of our asset we would really put up on our minds on cutting loses on which commonly happen to on most traders but we should not really lose hopes on trading we should really treat it as a stepping stone on our learnings.

Great thread. I used to be very disappointed in trading, especially in the beginning, after buying at a high price and then panic selling after the price drops. I've learned a few things since then and am a more competent and successful trader. So now I enjoy trading very much.
When you know technical analysic in cryptocurrency market, you will like the time panic seller because you can know when the price is lowest and can recement in short time. Can take profit 10-30% after a crash very easy, sometime can have 100% profit as DOGE in end June

As long as we have the will to recover our loses we can always be satisfied.
Maybe in the past where we are still a newbie we have a hard time understanding and probably we can lose money
but when we mature it will be possible to earn money already.
Yeah right experience teaches us how to know when to recover back trading is a game for those who have a guts to take  risk the more you analyze the flow the more chances that you will able to satisfied your trading experiences.
As mentioned trading too is a form of game where user needs the risking mind to make money. Importantly disappointment and surprises happen with trading in the beginning. Surprise happens with people who make a big profit because of the unexpected pumping of the coin in which he or she invested and disappointment happens when one invest after a long research, but it gets dumped in a short.
Well said when people try trading after doing too much research and suddenly the price dump it is a big shock and very disappointing situation for investors. But we must and should do this research before trading otherwise making money in trading is very tough. And surprises we will get unexpectedly, but many times we will miss that right time.

Very consoling and Educative articles from masters himself! I could remember how I  loses $1,000 in binary option and how opteck dupe me of $300 in 2013. I also have loses money in forex and since then I live a disappointed trading life till I come to cryptocurrency trading and began to make profit little by little and now make full income online. I think loses in trading is to teach us to be careful and be managers in trading. We see people making millions dollars from cryptocurrency in three to four years of trading and their doing this without scamming any body! This instruct us that trading is worthwhile.

Trading no doubt takes experience and knowledge and a calm approach.

I have done it a few times since the crypto boom and have done well however these were more strategic individual trades than day trading.

I prefer a less stress full approach to life.

I have thought about bots however do not know much about them.

Anyone have any suggestions and or links that may help?

Yes and no. I still beleive trading is good strategy for making profit with bitcoin but it's not easy and you have to have good trading skills and be very dedicated. I haven't fuly suceeded with bitcoin but there is no one else to blame but me, so I could only be disappointed in me, not trading.
You are right and if your mindset is disappointing yourself you can get to the to the point to adjust your system and learn more about trading. Disappointment in gambling is normal because of having a pump and dump things.
Yes if you encountered any loss and you got disappointed then try to adjust yourself to deal with the disappointment and also practice again or think about the moves that you made so you can have a better moves and decision on your next few traders in trading field which can help you to become an expert trader and also earn a lot of money.
At least inside the main crypto economy, bitcoin and perhaps litecoin too, there is an application for TA (technical analysis, the dark arts of chart reading) which somehow fails on the smallish altcoin markets. They do lure you, of course, with high revenue.
The reason technical analysis may seem not to fitting in with most altcoin can be traced to their little capitalization and small market size, which makes them easily manipulable by few persons with above average holdings. Nevertheless, being equipped with the right knowledge and skills is indispensable for profitable trading or whatever business one sets out to do.
Yes, when manipulations are possible, there will be no room for applying technical analysis so that cannot make accurate predictions with them and hence getting disappointments from that trading will be inevitable.

Just staying away from small volume crypto and choosing well established coins may help anyone to avoid disappointments.

“One of the keys to a trader’s success was not the results of a trade but rather how a trader reacted to the results of a trade.” – Dan Gamza

Why me? Why did this happen to me? Those are some of the questions that disturb losing traders. After a series of losses, some of them develop hatred for trading. Suffering that results from negative trades, drawdowns and margin calls can make people easily disappointed in trading.

Nonetheless, no matter how bad your trading is, it could’ve been worse. No matter how bad things are, there are still some reasons to be thankful, if you can think deep.

There are events that move the markets and which professionals focus on. These events often are filled with uncertainties, bringing profits and losses to people. Just some months ago, Greece was a hot topic, and speculators were mulling opening positions on the seemingly overextended markets, but some had serious misgivings. At times, the stakes may be higher than the rewards.

There Is Really Nothing Like Losses

There is really nothing like losses, for what brings losses to some people is what brings profits to others. The market moves up or down – not losing up or down. When you buy EURUSD and it goes up, you win (but a seller will lose). When you sell AUDJPY and it goes up, you lose (but a buyer will win). When you enter a direction in the market and it moves seriously in your favor, all those who go in that direction will make money, provided there are no wide differences in their entry prices.

What you call losses is what brings profits to some people. What you call profits is what brings losses to some people.

People Don’t Learn Their Lessons

Despite well-meaning efforts to solve the problem of loss, there are millions of traders around the world who’re still losing because of dangerous trading habits. People don’t learn their lessons.

During a funeral process, many attendees will be remorseful, thinking about the brevity of life and futility of wickedness, anxiety, love of money and so on. But once the funeral is done, you’ll see many of those attendees living their lives as if they’d not die again.

Too many traders lost in the past because they didn’t use stop loss on live and simulated accounts. When they come back to trading, you’ll see them using the same trading approaches that led to their downfall the last time, namely, high lot sizes and no stop loss. People don’t learn their lessons.

Traders who test new trading ideas on demos don’t use stops; and I wonder how that idea can survive on live accounts in the long haul, because they may apply it to a demo account once they’ve been lucky enough to gather some gains.

A Way Out?
After many years of grappling with the markets, traders who complained in the past may later show their gratitude; and for the fact that the markets cannot be blamed for what happen to them (though we may feel disappointed sometimes). There are days when they become sad, and they complain when they think of their seeming helplessness. Nonetheless, they’d have come to understand that the markets don’t set out to punish individuals.

Interacting with good traders as well as reading about super successful ones would’ve made them stronger psychologically and kept their spirits up.

Reflecting on a possibility of a risk-free trading approach reassures those who’re currently losing. Good trading coaches care about them, knowing full well that the end of their struggles is in sight. Focusing on such hope can give a trader the fortitude to endure certain negativity now.

Conclusion: Are you disappointed in trading? Well those who currently make loads of money from trading were once disappointed at some time in their careers. Those whose marriage is now successful were at one time, frustrated by their spouse. But these people, for example, profitable traders (as well as happily married persons), looked for solutions to their problems and apply those solutions faithfully. That doesn’t mean they’re luckier or better than others: that means they’re able to overcome the causes of frustrations and disappointment in their careers.

This article is ended with the quote below:

“Markets are people. So beating them asks for insight in what they are doing. And, perhaps more importantly, how they feel, because that will direct their future actions and, in the end, what markets will do.” – Dirk Vandycke

Nice thread very interesting and well done for you sir,
Hope to be good at trading and can't really control my emotion I panic a lot so I think that is one of the reason why I always lose some money in trading.
