I have yet to earn anything from bitcoin and I have only a small portion that I' m holding at the moment. What I am waiting for is for the price to go down to as low as $600 or even $550. That's the price range that I'd be comfortable buying at. I would then just wait for it to rise again to hopefully $800 by the end of the year.

Well if the price will go worth $5,000 that is already enough for me to sell out my bitcoin. I hope it will happen for the next 2-3 years.
And if that happens for sure, it is going to be the best way of getting rich.

That's why it is always better to save bitcoin for the hope of price increase. And even a sudden price fall is happening today.
For sure, once the halving happens. Price is going to increase again and it will going to reach to $1,000.
So, let's just continue holding until the halving happens.

Yes if bitcoin price is going to increase, then almost all alt coins will increase too. And if bitcoin's price will fall down.
Then provably that alt's price will also fall. Because alt coins are depending on the price of bitcoin.

I agree that as time goes by we will reach the highest peak of bitcoin's value. There are a lot of investors out there that buys regardless of the price. I see also possibilities that it would pass the all-time high price.
