It is fear that makes a bettor to allow the machine to pick numbers for him, probably he has been trying his numbers by himself without success. I used to have favorite numbers when betting I think I kept it for one year and I bet on it five times a week, the fear of your number coming out with you not betting in is very true, I have read a lot of stories where they are keeping their favorite numbers that they are betting daily, then the number comes out but unfortunately, they did not bet on it and that's a heart breaker, after one year of betting I shifted to lucky pick because keeping favorite numbers to bet will make you addicted to the lottery.

I've used to buy and bet in this lotto ticket and I have my own number combination, I kept it for how many years, actually it's our family lucky pick numbers wherein numbers are very sentimental to us. There is such a feature where I live but I do not use it, and that is for the same reason that if I were to play dice I would not use the autobet feature, as I would feel that the computer is doing everything for me, and in that case why gamble? Here in my country, most lottery games are 4D lottery and most lottery players buy different numbers everyday based on their own calculation or prediction. I don't play the lottery, but I do play keno here and there. Basically the same thing. I usually choose numbers related to birthdays, anniversaries, or kids birth months. I used to bet the same numbers (my date birthday) when the lottery is very popular in my country a long time ago but never succeeded. I just remember when dealers in my country have a favorite number that they will issue when many gamblers place bets, the number is 00 and 99. Never in my mind to use let the machine pick the numbers I going to bit since I always feel that the chance to win by doing that is so low since maybe they can program that and that decrease our chances. But rather I have numbers which gotten from birthdate of important members of family and usually I use that for lottery betting. I may not win for that since I understand the odds is so low but for maybe in future we can win a lot of prize for that. Well, you do actually have a point but at the same time its a bit contradictory on which telling about being not addicted because if you do compare out your way of betting and others been sticking with their own numbers then there's no much difference about it. on which general essence on which you are just basically doing the same. When it comes to how big you do spend on tickets then this is where it would vary on which it do really give out those kind of
difference in between bettors because purchasing ticket might really be that cheap but when it do piles up then it would really be that becoming that big.

For those smaller number combinations, yes. But not everyday though especially the 6/45 up to 6/49 and so on, that's why it reaches in 9 digits of hot pot because no one wins everyday. Although there are cases of 2-3 consecutive days of wins but not everyday.

the machine will not decide who will win though. in the Philippines, the lottery is decided by the air-mix machine to pick the numbers which people will not see its rigged. unlike those scratch-off tickets where they could just not allow anyone to win no matter how many tickets are bought. its just them deciding how much a ticket could win.
So it is a matter of luck, there are a lot of lottery winners in my country who won the grand prize through LP, so there's no difference the most important is you can handle your betting and much more you can handle yourself when you hit the jackpot.

I remember my old neighbors before that they used to pick the same numbers and that's why despite that they have won a few times but not jackpots but combinations that has a prize still.
