I would rather not get paid in BTC, but I have been making an effort to buy $100 worth of BTC every payday.

Hi guys,

Doing a poll to collect data on the amount of users being paid in Bitcoin. I kindly request to take a moment of your time to cast your vote.

Thank you very much.

I kind of wish I was volatiliy aside but unfortunately not

I was hesitant at first but it's actually not bad at all!

Until it drops 60$ in one day and you can't afford to pay such and such bill.

I've had a few customers pay in bitcoin since I started accepting it at my small business... but I'd never take it for payment for a day-job... at least not with it as volatile as it is now. If it continues to catch on... maybe in a decade or two.

A workforce paid in bitcoin would totally kill innovation. Why work when you just can HODL your way into more wealth.

So, nah, I would not want to be paid in bitcoin nor would I want to live in a society with a deflationary crypto-currency.

Nothing wrong with bitcoin as a niche investment vehicle/hedging tool... but as a national currency it's insane.

I do both HODL and work for my Bitcoins.

Not until I can buy and pay for everyday needs in bitcoin

You can always cash out in advance. That's what I do.

Anything else I try to pay my expenses in Bitcoin such as items on Overstock.com

I also purchase gift cards with Bitcoin so I can buy Starbucks, Target, and other popular stores.

However, for rent, gas and most of the other things I budget an amount I will need to cash out to pay those type of bills.

I highly suggest doing this to support and use Bitcoin if you really believe in it. It is so much easier and convenient paying in Bitcoin than cash or credit at least for me all of my experiences have been positive.
