There are only a few people who have a got a large amount of money from gambling while a large amount of people often lose at there , and I am still not in the list of those people who have been rick with gambling.
i think these will be some exceptional case, but majority of people are loosing money in gambling therefore it is very difficult to say that one has become rich from gambling, i personally not rich from gambling although i am playing gambling for a long time still i never make a remarkable money from gambling.

No gambler became rich . As previously rich gamblers but they increasingly difficult and heavily in debt because they 're gambling . My own experience that because I grew up my father gambler . I have been a luxurious life but now we become very difficult because of debt . There were two cars we were a passenger jeepney and tricycle truck but lost everything due to my father when entangled in gambling . So without becoming rich on gambling .I m not playing gambling because i saw a lot of people who has lost everything in gambling.

Did you think that no one got rich in that bet for which your friend sold two cars? I think the person who won the bet may got rich with that, so it mean that only those people will be get rich with gambling who will be opponent with those who are not expert in gambling and will be fool to invest all of their wealth.
Yeah it is the rule of gambling that one person lose and the other person win, so we cannot say that no one can be rich with gambling, there are some people who are getting high profit and some are losing, the better way to become rich with gambling is that the gambler should have to be more and more expert in gambling.

Not rich but I can get quite lucky sometimes, I just know my limits and every now and then I win. I do it as a hobby though and not as a main income.
This is the mindset that every casual gambler should possess: "I would never get rich from gambling UNLESS I got really lucky and hit a jackpot. But til then, I only do this to entertain myself and not to be my primary source of income." Though for some other gambler, this may not be applicable as they can get tons of thousands of profit for whatever they do. But always keep in mind that if you can't put a lot of money at stake, you will never see gambling as your primary source of income.

It is hard to get rich by gambling, but there are a few lucky folks who are rich by gambling. take a look at professional poker players they make heck a lot of money. Maybe one in a million people can become rich by gambling. However rest of them did become beggars. People need luck to win at gambling which most of use lack and hence I stay away from it.
People who became rich by gambling are very lucky and most of the gamblers became poor because of it. When someone wanted to be rich, he should not resort in gambling because he will just become greedy wanting more money chasing his losses and in the end it will just backfire to him losing more. Better resort in other investment opportunities where he can be sure that he will receive his money and less risky. It might not be as fast as gambling that he can earn but at least he can be sure that he will receive something in return in the future.
I don't think most gamblers are poor because of loses in gambling. Usually they become addicted for a while and then they retire from gambling completely. Other addictions are much worse.
Sadly enough no. I don't think getting rich by gambling is skill based. Gambling is gambling, you win some you lose some if there would be an formula to win everything everybody would be rich. However I did get poor from gambling! ha-ha.
I'm not a rich man from the gambling, just a losing person in them and I'm very bored just to see the word of lose, lose and lose again and because of that make me feel to retire from gambling and until this time I never try gambling again. 
Mutual feelings here. I gamble quite alot sometimes I win but most of the time it's just lose lose and lose a bit more. What kills me most is that I don't know when to stop! Anways a direct answer to your title is no I'm not rich from gambling and I don't know anyone who is.
I was never rich in gambling because everytime I do gambling I always lose therefore I conclude that it is very hard to become rich in gambling. I do not know if anyone got rich in gambling, I think no one was able to do that.

the most thing that we will do if we have lose in gambling is we talk bad, all bad words will be out from our mouth
because this is what i do when i've got lose. but i am not regret what i am lose, because i am play gambling is just for fun, to spend out my time and the money is just a bonus for me if i win the games. i know that i will not earn much money from gambling so nothing to lose and until now, i am not rich from gambling.

same here mate i'm still not in the list I'm still losing and keeps on trying to bounce back but ending up to lose moreit is really just a small percentage of a gamblers who got reach just for gambling and it is very hard to do it, I don't

That is absolutely true that most of the gamblers are going to become beggars if they are not going to quit gambling. Because this is going to lead them into bankruptcy.
Even I, I can say that my life didn't upgrade when I'm into gambling. It is just really created for entertainment purposes.
