I dont care and dont want such news around again. The revelation will bring nothing to the space, the previously mentioned names and faces are just looking for fame and place on the newspaper without paying. We should be tired of these and show them we find nothing appealing with it. Actually such revelation for new technology should bring accolades for the inventor but I find out the benefit of keep such information. I was so surprised the Craig wright saga could end that way.

I think it's enough to appreciate SN's creation because he/she made it for the people. If he/she wanted to be anonymous, let him/her be. It's useless to share false infor about the Satoshi that's why until now, there are still people who claim they're SN.

Already read this type of news so many times in the past. Previously when I was new to the forum I was getting excited hearing such news.
But sorry now I do not get excited over this type of news.
I am sure having so many claims of this type in future too. So best choice to be calm.

There is now a lot of news about Satoshi Nakamoto coming up or uncovered are you still excited every time there is news about new discovery on who Satoshi Nakamoto is and his whereabouts.
I am not sure what is the point in knowing the real person behind the alias, i respect him as an individual because he created something special and he wanted his privacy and he left the project a long time ago and i do understand the excitement to know the unknown, but we have good developers taking care of the project and that is more important now.

The good news is that the fake Satoshi (or "Craigtoshi" Wright) won't be a threat for the real bitcoin anymore.

The Bitcoin technology is what we should admire and be proud of. Satoshi has obviously done a good job but it has nothing to do with bitcoin's growth.
There are many people claiming to be Satoshi but none of them prove their claims. This is all a clickbait. I just ignore any such links.

I had been excited about who Satoshi is until some time ago but I am not anymore. This is just getting somewhere boring because it seems that we are not going to learn about him for a long time. Some days ago, a man claimed that he is Satoshi but it was obviously a lie.

Candidly speaking, I have long ago stop the dream of searching for the " real Satoshi Nakamoto" because they have fooled us several time.
Do you actually know anyone that was actually fooled by these "Satoshi revelations"? I honestly don't see how some people would be fooled by Craig Wright(probably besides most of BSV's supporters) and the James Bilal dude.

No, such news don't excite me any more as most of the news are usually some kind of paid hype to promote a new crypto figure into the spotlight. In my opinion unveiling the God begin bitcoin would only serve as a distraction to the actual progress of the coin. A simple example can be observe from other CEO of altcoins we have, e.g the like of CZ and the rest, a simple tweet from them could fud or fomo the price of their coins. I don't want such experience for bitcoin. Bitcoin is all about decentralization and privacy therefore it would be nice if the founders identify doesn't get exposed as it somehow serve as a symbol for the privacy feature of bitcoin.

No one cares about news about Satoshi, Satoshi Nakamoto is everywhere and can be anywhere, no one knows and no one knows him. Most supporters of bitcoin admit that Satoshi made a very correct decision by appearing on a digital forum in 2010, but it will make everyone confused about how he will reappear before the public. In the eight years since Satoshi left, many fake Satoshi, or faketoshis have appeared.

Even from the start, I'm not excited to know who really is the creator of Bitcoin. I'm not interested in his/her/their identity anymore unlike the first time I heard Bitcoin where I'm very curious about it.
Lot of people claiming that they are Satoshi and because of it, the excitement has gone. I don't care anymore who satoshi is. What is important is what satoshi has created will change the global monetary system.

Where did you get that news? Any link so we could all check? With all this dramas coming up and all this pretenders, any news concerning Satoshi Nakamoto won't do anything to me unless it's a news regarding his wallet's movement.

We have fed by so many lies about this Nakamoto pretenders some of them are good storyteller some of them might be true I have a hard time analyzing the best version of the story.
There is not much interest in this news anymore, at the moment they are only interested in the development of bitcoin in the near future. Post a link!I must be leaving under a rock because I haven't seen that many news about Satoshi lately (other than the usual CSW bullcrap). I google'd Satoshi Nakamoto and the only thing i could find was some kind of childish YT rap-battle created by Reid Hoffman and i couldn't care less about this stuff.
People in this forum keep talking about "recent" news about Satoshi but they never post a link, i'm starting to believe that if it's true [the tons of news about Satoshi and people spreading fake information] then the whole thing must've started in this forum.
Oh, and to answer OP's question: No, i do not get excited about such news.

For those who will ask if the account is legit, well I'm sure he's the real satoshi and we knew that bitcointalk.org is the founding forum about bitcoin. Even the section on Reddit r/bitcoin, it's managed by the same people in here. The forum and bitcoin was created with the same year so it's an additional assurance for you to believe that it's legit.

Only people who do not understand what makes Bitcoin unique have a constant need to ask a question "Who is and where is Satoshi". Does anyone think it would be better to Satoshi again come to this forum, or for someone to discover his identity?
Bitcoin is what it is because Satoshi removed himself from the project on time, and because he has remained anonymous to this day. All this threads about Satoshi make no sense at all, the only real evidence if anyone want prove that he / she is Satoshi is to sign message from Satoshi address/es.

With so many fuds appearing in my newsfeed and with so many persons who were claiming that they are the Founder of Bitcoin, I am not really that excited to about it. If you'll type satoshi here in forum, you can also see different topics and threads about the fakr Satoshi Nakamoto news. Though I am one of those who are eager to know who really are (if they are a group or team) or who really is the real identity of Nakamoto.
On the other hand, what makes it important is even if Satoshi disappered, bitcoin still existing and growing and most importantly becoming what He wanted it to be.

Actually no. It doesn't really give that excitement or impact every time someone would claim they are Satoshi. We're so used to all of those fake Satoshi and it doesn't get that much attention now since a lot of people does that now and already claimed to be Satoshi but no one even prove themselves correctly. It's just a waste of time, listening to every stories they made up just to prove themselves. I think no one would still believe since we already had enough.

well, I will not be surprised if the news comes out as "The real Satoshi Nakamoto is Craig Wright!" Too many news like this in the past, most of them is used to advertise for new projects. Real Satoshi Nakamoto will never show up, just my 2 cents

I find it extremely boring, and really rather annoying. Maybe in 20 years some papers will surface, and will provide notes about the central bank meetings that created the white paper. It will come as a surprise of course, rather like the memos that discussed the creation of central banks, and the machinations to convince the gullible public that they were a good thing.

I do like as Satoshi is unknown. His identity may be bringing undue attention to the person and not the project. It also shoes how an anonymous founder can impact the world just with a good computer. The identity of Satoshi being unknown is fine.
