I was one of them who was confident that no fork will ever affect bitcoin price and I am glad that I was right all along. Forks simply tend to create a hostile environment where everyone feels like division of a currency will lead to its price dropping rapidly which is only true sometimes and not everytime. People must do their research into this matter before diving into this crypto world.

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

I am not really surprised at the current price because I have heard clearly from the Cryptocurrency experts that they are gunning for the 10,000$ mark. So, the current price is only a passing phase. What I do wish is to really be on the earning side when this finally happens. As much as I can't really place its real timing to hit the mark but it is in view and very much achievable. And all is at work to make this possible. Though there is a some persons thought that it will have a sharp fall soon too

Honestly I knew btc would be $10000 but that will happen soon,I didnt know that but I beleive this is not stopping for btc,it will go to $25k

Absolutely yes, I was surprise due to its equivalent currency to my country. Even if it will fall a little bit that bitcoin value is very a huge amount to our currency. Hoping it will still increasing now and to have a good profit in the future. Even I just earn tokens as of this days, I know soon it will be a good return as my profitable income.

I’m not surprised I was expecting exactly this scenario after the recent experience we got with bitcoin cash and I think the same is going to happen after we get the segwit2x fork, so prepare yourselves guys we may see bitcoin above 8000 in this month.

Since the beginning of the year I was convinced that the price of bitcoin would end this year around $7,500 dollars, and I am surprised that we have almost reached that price so early in the year. If bitcoin follows this meteoric rhythm, I would not be surprised if the price ends this year close to $ 10,000!!!

I really didn't predict that much movement from bitcoin. It made all of us wrong this time, whales probably pumped it hard and this resulted in touch and rise effect on bitcoin. The new target will probably be $8000.

Yes a bit surprised to be honest by the speed. I had expected that bitcoin will go up before the fork but certainly the recent news from CME and amazon might have fueled the growth even more. We will see some correction soon, healthy correction can only be good for the long term growth of bitcoin

Yes I also have this prediction but the price become goes up as expected and maybe this type of situation in bitcoin price can invite more people to invest and hold it for the years so that we can enjoy a good profit in the future.

It was a great surprise for me to see today such a high price. And I doubt that this year the price will be even higher. I think that it is more logical to prepare for a fall

I'm actually not surprised of current price, it is smack in the middle of my projected charts, and have been since I started following in august. I forecasted 7k to arrive end of Oct in a bet against two friends, if I lost I'd pay their loss in the investment they did off my word. I did loose, but they had of course no loss as BTC made profit to them instead.
My charts say we could reach between 11 and 13k by the end of 2017, recent public interest and major financial institutions coming in I think it will be reality.
