I’d better say that I am excited by the event. Bitcoin now only jumped down the $10,000 barrier, but I think it will back very fast. I will not be surprised if in a few days it will cost over 11-12 thousand of dollars again!
Well, now, when I write this message, the price of bitcoin is already ~ $ 10,200 . And this is not so surprising. It will rise rapidly for a long time. Up to $ 15,000 remains a little more, but what will happen after reaching this threshold - no one knows.
If I say that I am not surprised, then I will be lying. I am collecting Bitcoins ever since 2014, and I have seen the previous Bitcoin rallies as well. But this time, it was extreme and much beyond everyone's expectations. I expected a rise after the block reward halving on 2016. But not at this magnitude.
Agree, this is a very surprising one for everyone who plays Bitcoin because very fast prices soar.
I'm surprised either but not that surprise due to bitcoin volatility and something good usually come out of bad thing. Besides, this is to give chance for new buy before bitcoin reach the $15,000 price range and also to strengthen the bitcoin price.
We can not call it a surprise but an appreciation. This currency is maling a real revolution in the whole world and it is predectable to reach even ten times its price now.
I am certainly surprised by bitcoin. I am relatively new to this space and as I was learning about crypto I though that bitcoin was not as versatile as the other smaller alt coins.

Of course I am really surprised by bitcoin's price, in a year it jumped from a few hundred dollars to 11000$ then again it dropped to 10000$ then to 9000$ and then again to 9600$. The price just keeps on fluctuating like hell.
Absolutely, this is shocking as I had seen a few months back and it was just around 5,000$ but double the raise of 10,000 was unexpected! And looking at the trends, I estimate it to rise around 12-13k around the end of December

I'm surprised less by the price itself at this point, and more surprised by the accuracy of the price growth forecasts. This current value at 10000 now was almost "expected", and now the expectation is that it will hit 12000 in January, and if and when it happens I will be "Jacks Complete Lack of Surprise". I just wish I understood how they were doing it....

Yes your right, bitcoin will never stop increasing his value day by day, because there's so many people or even investor, invest in bitcoin that's why bitcoin continue to grow. And like you said ( what more in the future. ) I agree on that, because if you can see the value of bitcoin now is $10k, and that the prediction of an expert for this year 2017 end, but bitcoin reach now the $10k, so what more in the next year..
No, not at all surprised, now the currency prices are expected, I think the price of the currency will one day rise to hundreds of dollars a, or even a $one million, it is possible

I'm kind of expecting that it will really reach $10000 just by looking at the trend of bitcoin for the last three months. I could say that it's rising very fast and higher than expected, unlike alt coins.
There's probably not many of you who've expected this especially for those.of us that dealt with bitcoin for more than a year now. We all expected the value to rise but not this fast. Last year i thought that 5k would be a decent target for 2017 and here we are now looking to go after 11k before the year ends.

Of course. After all these years, 2017 been the greatest year for bitcoin. From 1k usd to 10k usd in just one year.
Yes I am much surprised by the bitcoin price today as it crossed the $10000 which is a high price but I was also hopeful that the price increases with time. The bitcoin is wealthy currency and I want to make some investment in it for good profit margin. As the time going on the investors are trying to invest more and the traders are willing to trade in the future.
as before that i have read some speculation that bitcoin could ever reach the $10k so i am not that so surprised about bitcoin when it was reach that price for how about for the upcoming more years i think that it can reach the moon.

no doubt that bitcoin price raises to 8000$. ever since there are alot of users in bitcoin market price keeps rising dont expect less
No doubt, people are getting increasing in investment in bitcoins by seeing its price as it is going higher and higher and in the coming days its like that it price will go much more higher than this which is more surprising.i have hold all my investment till the end of this year hope that its price will go much more higher.
Decided to take a micro break from Crypto last week and this week, only logging on BTCtalk a couple times, and I was shocked to see the prices for BTC (over 10K!), ETH and LTC today!!! I wasn't able to invest much on BTC since the price was already super high when I learned about it in late August, but I am happy I invested a bit more in LTC (sure, not as high as the other 2, but it is starting to rise).
