While 2BTC are a good incentive, I am not like you guys, thinking outside of the box(and I can see some people went outside what is outside the box). I could never solve this even if I spent my whole life on it.

But if I had to give an opinion. I guess looking at the pic reminds me of a QR code.

Can someone with a working QR reader scan this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7491776

Thanks OP Smiley

Quote
Red: Red is the symbol of adulthood (literally it can be taken to refer to menstrual blood, and thus fertility and vigor). The Queen and Alice are on opposite sides of this color, Alice just growing into her adulthood, the Queen just growing past it. It is over this place, this wise middle ground, that the novel fights. Red is, hopefully, a place (or an age) of balance between rules and mercy, between young and old, between wisdom and nonsense.

If it helps, I was the one who added .09 btc to the bitcoin address, so disregard that donation--which I assume you have done, obviously not a clue.  The other 1-0 deposits are certainly curious, though.

Also, before coin_artist silenced her twitter account last night, she made a few references to Alice in Wonderland. Wonder if there is a simple alphabet cipher involved a la Lewis Carroll. I'm not a cryptographer, so forgive the naivete. Perhaps all ARG puzzle constructors use Alice in Wonderland metaphors.

One more thing: in one of her tweets, she used the phrase "...what meets the eye." I can't remember--and it's driving me crazy--if she said "it's not what meets the eye," but I really don't think so because I was struck by her phrasing enough to write it down. What is it about the eye and what would be meeting it?

Good luck--you all are so smart!

Yeah it seems that "we need to go down the rabbit hole" Wink

EDIT: Nice of you to join and help us out.... much appreciated Wink

EDIT 2: got her twitter account link?

In that triangle down the bottom I keep looking at that small piece in the top left corner. I wonder if it means something.

another thing.. The Yellow dots on row 14 makes me think we should not be approaching these dots from left to right but instead either top/bottom or bottom to top.

I have imported the image into gimp and have noticed there are two 3x3 reversed but identical grids the first starting on row 7 after the "O" and the second starting on row 9 after the L.  Depending on whether the red/green dots are 1,2 and zeros... XORing these would give a 3x3 grid of 1.  Could be a coincidence but may be useful.  I am not sure how useful because the number of rows % 3 is not 0.

Welcome aboard mate Smiley

Will check your findings and see if I can come up with something.
I am sure most of the other participants will do the same.

Thanks for being part of the team Smiley

A couple of random thoughts:

There are 26 parts divided by orange dots before the blue dot (1 part is empty though). I thought this might relate to letters of the alphabet, but some parts are the same, so doubtful it's a direct key.

If red and green do represent bits, and each part isn't a set length, it's not clear why you'd start (or end, depending on direction) with a 0 bit in some cases only. Suspect they represent something else, like direction?

I'm assuming the dots run right-to-left, not top-to-bottom...

Could the red/yellow/blue colours relate to the colours in the Darkwallet logo's triangle? [Edit: The red/yellow/green/blue prism spectrum also turns up in the logo for the related Darkmarket project, e.g. http://www.wired.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Screen-Shot-2014-04-22-at-4.45.06-PM.png]

A) A private key can be 52 characters long as well (half the keys I found are 52 char long and all start with K) also there are mini-keys : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Private_key
B) I am not sure about the image not having steganography. I have followed Cicada games who's images were uploaded on imgur (by whoever) and had hidden content in them.
C) You are spot on, the ones and zeros are a clue to deciphering.
Thanks!

Long shot, but here's the greens and reds seperated, to see if there's any visual patterns.
