Today marks the 2nd anniversary of the launch of the ARK genesis block and the start of the ARK network! A very special thank you to all who have been with us since day 1 and of course everyone that has joined since. Here is to many more years to come!

Congrats to us all. But I have a question BoldNinja: There are plans to rebuild a lite web wallet as it was with v.1 core? The desktop one is becoming more and more complicated and not all the people are specialist to use it. With this situation only experts can hold ark and not novices which are much more in number.

No sorry, there are no future plans for webwallets. As all desktop wallets are syncless HD there is no need for webwallets. We choose to stick with our secure desktop and mobile wallets for many reasons. One being security, but as i am sure you are aware the ARK wallets also connect with ledger hardware wallets/have intuitive UI/have dynamic fees/allow all created ARK bridgechains/upcoming marketplace and plugins/future nano x integration/etc... We are very proud of our wallets and there is a reason they have been called the best in the industry, we will continue updating them and making everything more and more streamlined while adding amazing features. Sidenote: last week i had a friend install, setup, and receive ARK on his new smart phone. He has never used a computer before and has only had an old flip phone until now. The only thing he asked was if he should write the passphrase in pen or pencil lol. If my friend of absolutely no technical knowledge (I mean he can't even figure out how to setup a new tv or video game console) can setup and use an ARK wallet, while understanding it better than his personal checking account.... I think we are going the right direction. Of course first iterations of any software takes time to mature and i am not saying anything is perfect, but give it a minute and report anything you would like to see different/changed and we can all grow this together.

Good explanation. I like the desktop wallet more than most other project's wallets, simple and intuitive. Ever try to get Komodo's Agama wallet up and running in a hurry? Or figure out just what your balance represents?  Cheesy  Plenty of other over complicated wallets out there as well.

On the other hand, perhaps the voting functions are the issue as this adds some complexity to the wallet. Anyway, hope everyone including n2004al is happy with Ark, I know I am!

I respectfully disagree with that statement. Their wallet might not be a very quick point-click-wallet solution, but it's very simple thanks to its initial wizard which guides the users step by step with short and clear explanations and beautiful graphics.
I find it well balanced between being simple and powerful.

As for hardware wallet users it's as simple as just plugging your wallet to the USB and opening the wallet!

Oh and also another feature I like is that through ARK's wallet we can connect to any other sidechain built on ARK by just submitting the sidechain's network data.

Sorry RivAngE. If I am writing about this problem this mean that I have inputs. If something in desktop wallet is easy to be understood by someone like you that doesn't mean that is so for everyone.

Alright, I won't insist then. But how would you advice the team to make it easier?
I'm honestly curious because as I said I found it easy to use so I can't think of anything to make it better. Maybe the ARK team has the same problem, they're too familiar with their wallet so they don't see the need to change anything if people don't ask.

I'm sure if people spend 10 minutes with it they will getting familiar

The teaseeeeeeeee ! haha

Everything you're always making looks amazing. I fully trust you that you'll deliver yet again.

Also, to provide a quick and non-technical version of your previous post (which I read just now),
Double forgery happens when a delegate forges multiple blocks in their time slot creating multiple chains and this can happen either by accident or on purpose.
The ARK team came up with a solution they call Proof of Double Forgery (PoDF) and it's a protocol that automatically detects, fixes and punishes the delegate who double forged.

A lot more technical details on their link above Smiley
