If you want something quick, you may just want to pick up a pre-assembled setup since finding GPU's at a "fair" price may be hard to do.  I'm currently patiently waiting for 10 GPU's to be sent to me because they are on backorder.

It's not that hard, really Wink

I saw plenty guys selling brand new cards here just like me, plenty of people commenting, but only few actually wanted to buy after all. They end up buying same cards in store for higher price + they wait for the cards to come... AND after it they complain how hard is to get some cards...

Crypto Currency , Mining, Exchange ATM, Wallet!
I recently found out about bitcoin/litecoin and would like to build myself a rig to mine Scrypt coins.

What's the best configuration that you guys can recommend for around $3600 budget and where can I find the parts?

the dual miner will also give you the same power that the u1 antminer has. Think footprint, module replacement and most importantly into the future. Or don't.

Ye, the better setup actually seems to be the GPU route with r9 270s. If the article is correct, I can pretty much get 12 r9 270s running for a little over $3600 coming out to 5.4mhs vs. the same amount will get me 3.5Mhs going the grid seed route.   Power cost is not a factor for me.

if power is cheap, gpu's are good

look at getting 7870's or r9 270's at $200 or so you get 400 KHs ... looking to build another 4 card setup  myself

this is a good writeup if you want to build your own setup:

maybe look into this:

Get started with that and then work on building your own...
