Don't rush into investing if you're a newbie as you claimed. Most peeps have been driven into their darkest primes just in a bid to try something new without having an idea about anything in it, stay cool.
Meanwhile, if you do already, then this is actually the right time to buy. It's called the DIP, where you'd buy and HODL coins for lesser cost only to bumb into some huge profits at the ATH, depending on whether or not you investing much in it. Don't Rush and don't panic of the market structure stoops lower; it has happened severally and it always finds it way through.

The motivation to invest should not be predicting high value based on recovery to reach the ATH price but think about the realistic prediction that the potential is reached by 2023, at least reach the price for $31k then you will get 100% profit from the current price investment (estimated rate $17k), so make sure we invest potential assets that are specifically allocated for long-term portfolios. So I have the same analysis to take advantage of investment opportunities at current low prices for future profits.

perhaps, crypto investing is;
- too risky
- stressful (emotional stress)
- but of course, it was profitable if managed properly

What you need is to carry over these things and keep working on your investment and knowledge. Firstly as a beginner you have to know that bitcoin is volatile, It is a decentralized currency , which the market price can never be predicted. If you want to invest in bitcoin it will be good to know more things about bitcoin first.
The first question you need to ask yourself what is the reason why you want to invest bitcoin, and if your answer is to get rich then you are going in the wrong direction, if you are having in mind to invest in bitcoin to depend on it as source for living, then you are not doing right thing. BTC is the coin you should begin with. For many, that's where the investment in cryptocurrencies should end as well. After the merge, Ethereum has become an even more centralized and restrictive digital asset whose blocks are compliant with the OFAC Sanctions List. That's not the ethos that Bitcoin introduced to this economy. BNB is a centralized coin that belongs to an exchange that was involved in the recent controversy surrounding FTX. While most of us already had that plan for long term like more than 10 years from now, so it's up to you think that if an early of a decade from now on is too early to invest or not.

Start with a good research first and never fail to DYOR in times you are in doubt or you feel hesitations to go on. We all share the same feeling way back in newbies days, so definitely you are not alone. If I were you, study the links first provided in the thread because that will guide you on what to do and how to do it. Of course, you will experience mistakes along the way, but that is a normal thing, you will get to overcome it when your knowledge has gone too far.

You are never early or late to invest in Bitcoin, but you'll have to choose the best exchange ^{(I recommended Binance)}, understand how to use the crypto wallet, never keep your coin on an exchange for the long term and never invest the amount you can avoid losing. I will also advise you to understand the impact of the Bitcoin blockchain halving.
