Just wait a little longer the year is not yet ending there are almost 3 weeks before the end of the year. And if we see good indication before the year ends then for sure that the next year is going to be one another awesome year of bitcoin and we will see the price will land to four digit dollar value.

If it keeps this price up in december, the month where everyone spends their money, it is indeed probably going to be a 4-digit currency really soon, looking forward to that. would be awesome

Almost a half month before the year ends, I'm still a bit skeptical that the price will be able to reach that four digit level for this year and that is possible to happen for next year. But no matter what is going to happen before this year ends, I'm going to keep on holding my bitcoins.

Why people really wants to achieve their desire target in just one wave? Let the current price build some good support around it. A rush price increase will also create an instant price decrease because of profit taking. If the price will just be slowed down like this then definitely traders will have some brainstorming if they will buy or sell. Since it's slow, expect some few bearish activity and quite increase for a bullish activity which is a good way for price to increase slowly.

Just enjoy what we are today. Unexpected events in bitcoin will happen soon.

Everything that goes up always comes down. Bitcoin price is just starting to go up ,this the right time to collect and hold till it reaches the peak and sell of it,cause after reaching the top going so fast is the next scenario.

Well.. I think there are no big reasons in this year for btc to change its price much. No halving, no major btc involving projects occuring.. This is too optimistic expectation,even for BTC.It is hard to imagine that the price could be increased for more than 100% in two months.It should be pump of all pumps,triggered by some incredibly positive news for BTC.

I think that price will stay at current range for some time,and that with the start of the New Year price can be slowly go down.If we take into consideration the Chinese factor in forming of prices,we should keep in mind Chinese New Year.Usually at this time there is no significant movement on the BTC market.

After every big price pump there will be some weeks of stable price and i think the steady price of bitcoin right now is also same like before. And after small dumps when some of the whales will pull out profit in this steady price range, price will again start to pump hard. This seems good time to buy before another big pump.

Yes price drop was reasonable because the price will continue to fluctuate. Prices are unlikely to rise continuously, would be the point where the price has decreased. In 2017 it will take place several times and may be in a sizable amount. But I'm sure the price bitcoin will recover and rise, bitcoin fluctuations would certainly tend to rise because bitcoin is now evolving.

It will be nice if price can get to $2000 by this February but there is no any logical reason behind to support this speculation. Price is steady at end of this year and also correction on price seems not that high so we may see nice growth in price next year.

I think 2017 might see a little price drop really, these things work in cycles - peak & trough. At the moment we are riding the peak but it will likely drop after reaching the top. I'd love to see it over $1,000 again but it'll need to correct itself at some point..

the 2016 years really a good a year for bitcoin, within the halving the price now gradually increase and has double from january, and 2017 will be getting better, more and more people and company already aware of bitcoin and now there are a lot of investor and traders, it surely going to be another great year for all bitcoin users

so far these periods never last long, it is a bull run for a short run then it turns into a bear run and then again...
i'd say if we can finally see a solution for the block size and it is resolved in the new year with a decent solution, we can surely see a moderate amount of bull run which may even lead to $1000-$1500 price

The market is looking pretty good, since we're hitting new highs from earlier this year (and close to the resting spot before the crash in mid/late 2014) and chances are there are a lot of holdouts from back in 2014 selling right now and keeping the price a tad low.

It'll be good in the future, I'm curious to see what happens when the year finally changes.

this coming year will be another good year for bitcoin without a doubt because even if bitcoin continues the same path it is on right now, it will be good enough. but apart from that we will have segwit and lots of other projects such as megaupload 2.0 ,... which will help the rapid rise.

You cannot be serious with your perma-bear outlook. Bitcoin has not reached the markets where it can make them more efficient. I believe it will get some of gold's speculative value in the near future. Have you seen the rate the dark markets are growing? That will be Bitcoin's main money maker. Please suggest another currency for the dark markets, if you cannot think of one then Bitcoin will never crash to 0.
