Thailand slammed Indonesia back to reality life, this final isn't a fairy tale, the quality side always deserve to be crowd champion. Have to admit it was wrong decision for Indonesia to sitting a 1 goal lead, they stay on their own half and hard defence in the start of the game, until Siroch 1st goal wake them up. It was too late and Siroch 2nd goal completely snap away the trophy.
Yes you are correct, Thailand could maintain AFF championship. I do not know what happened but my view Indonesia did not play well in the second leg, it was very different from the game in the first leg. Indonesia made a lot of mistakes in the second leg and in the end they had to give up AFF champion. But Indonesia had tried well and it should be appreciated.Maybe this thread should be closed because the AFF Cup has been completed.
Thailand has the better skill and they played this second leg at their own home thats why Indonesian team can do nothing in this game. And yes, we have to appreciate the struggle of Indonesian team and wishing for the better performance in the future.
It was luck for Indonesia, earlier lost 0-1 with Thailand but can reverse the score to 2-1 with Thailand. It was a great struggle for Indonsia. On the second leg of Indonesia should be able to win the game again or minimal draw in order to become a champion. I hope Indonesia will be the winner in the AFF cup.
