Pozdro.

I would be interested in the possibility to buy a Bitcoin ASIC device from Europe. Good luck with the project.

However, you are late in the game, and if at least two of the producers succeed, the chances that your endeavor will be profitable is slim (to say the least). I also have friends that work in chip design, but it never did strike me as an attractive business.

I agrree with you, but better late than never. At the moment there is NO proof of a working ASIC chip so far!

My alarm clock begs to differ.

no risk so far. let him start with that which he is speaking about and if he can show a proof which convince me than I'm in because we didn't see any proof of anybody so far.

I was send a msg to "Institute of Electron Technology" in Poland and they said they could perform ASIC included with FPGA, but not to many copies (I asked by 1000).

As others have suggested, you need to first educate yourself on what this technically means, ask them again, and then clarify to us. When producing ASICs, what matters is the initial cost, so 1000 units or 2000 won't make much difference in the final bill.

How i can collect people?

And how i can collect the money? (in safe way)

After you have a transparent business model and a proper design, I bet it would be fairly easy to find investors, even through the forum. ASICMINER did it, and they would easily be able to do it without involving GLBSE. So I would focus on the plan first; if you have a good plan, people would invest.

However, you are late in the game, and if at least two of the producers succeed, the chances that your endeavor will be profitable is slim (to say the least). I also have friends that work in chip design, but it never did strike me as an attractive business.

If I were you, I'd instead put my efforts on a different Bitcoin related design. We still don't have a decent hardware wallet for instance...

Ok, maybe I asked the wrong question.

Is found to be willing to ASIC when it is already in the testing phase (simulation)?
Twój angielski jest tragiczny. Używaj google translate.

This guy is asking if anyone on the forum wants to participate in beta testing (or maybe simulation) phase once ASIC is ready. Though as far as my impression goes, he only chatted a little with those guys at the university who make ASICs and asked them if they can do that. And they said "yes", but nothing was started. Not even an early design phase.

I think that he asks people to contribute work (not money) into the design, to make those ASICs real. Well if anyone is eager to participate, maybe this will work. Though the language barrier when communicating with him can make things difficult.

My english is tragic, but I speak Polish very well.

In some days i make special forum to this project.

I think they can do that  Wink

I don't know which is funnier
a) the pathetically bad scam attempt
b) that people are providing real advice and feedback

Kinda like offering tips to the guy offering Three-card Monte on how to get his gaming license.

True that Notme, i'm a easily annoyed person myself but it does no good to actively stifle anothers enthusiasm.

Who knows, some guy may have this revolutionary idea that could hasten Bitcoins adoption by mainstream financial institutions but was never taken seriously and worked on cause the guy was sick of being ridiculed when he brought ideas up in the forums.  This is a long shot but just saying.

These forums aren't going to make one lick of difference in an ASIC project.  It is all a matter of having the right skills get together and do the thing locally.  And then the actual production needs funded.  Perhaps the forum could help there, but until that point there isn't much good asking around here will get you.

To OP:
Check bitcoin wiki, read bitcoin whitepaper, look at open source FPGA designs, and read sha256 specification.  Google can help you find all this fairly easily.  If you have the team locally to do this, please make it happen, but you won't get much help here at this stage.

Come'on, give the guy a break... He had an Idea and is/was excited about it and sounds like he is enjoying the research etc.  This post doesn't sound to me like he is asking people for their money and English is Obviously Not his first language.

In a way, this is how everything in Bitcoin started..with an idea. Many people here just spend their time acting like dicks so they can feel better about themselves or something (I really don't know why).  Let people talk and let the ideas flow, after all isn't this the "Custom Hardware" forum??  I'm so sick of hearing crap about BFL, bASIC, Avalon and various scams as I'm sure many of you all are.  Let people TALK and Quit being Dicks.  If you think their Topic or post is nonsense then just move along...pretty soon there will be no one in this forum cause it's become TRASH

If you in any way support Bitcoin then please let others be able to have some excitement as we all once did and some of us still do.

I'd like to believe that instead of trolling me now that some of you will just Move along.....Thanks

Too much excitement will get you burnt around here.
