... it only gets better...
Nice to see that there are going to be many owners of these vs just one. Seems like we are going to have people hashing all over the place which means BTC network is going go be even more spread out. Muahahhaaha!

Okay, everyone who've been PM'ing me about getting a loan to bid or using fiat/wiretransfer/paypal/BBQCoins/whatnot to pay - I'm not giving out a loan right now, and ONLY BITCOINS ARE ACCEPTED. Hope that's clear, thanks again.  Smiley

Just a request or suggestion... During the final 30 minutes, John, can you post overview every 5 minutes, and then, during final five minutes post overview every minute?

.b
Nah, I can't post them fast enough as the list will be updated damn fast. I tried to do that in the last auction and had to wait for the auction to close before posting the summary.

The only effective bid here would be 1@41, sorry.
I understand why you and the other poster felt that split bids were a pain in the butt.   But, hopefully from this example above, you see why someone who wants more than one unit, might want to have multiple bids at different price levels.  Near the end, in the frantic stage, it is sometimes impossible to know the exact price you have to bid to for your bid to be effective.   The smaller the units, the easier it is to up it 1/2 or 1 BTC to get back on the board.

The rule should be when you update you list all your bids in that post, then every time someone bids it automatically removes all prior bids. Do you reckon that rule would be simple and effective?

Yes, you can have bids at different price levels. Just state them in a single post, thanks. (as per auction rules where your new bids will invalidate old bids)
