try
http://sourceforge.net/projects/libwdi/files/zadig/

to set the driver to libusb (I think).  I don't have Icarus boards to test this with, but I think that was the change in the recent versions of cgminer to use libusb instead of serial usb.

Check FPGA-README, ASIC-README

fyi - canary's package isn't construction paper folding in half... it's a bubblewrap padded envelope, cut down to size.

as for what you're doing wrong... no idea. i just took that bfgminer exe and gave it the options -G and -S all (note captialization.)

i never got cgminer working - i'd enter the comport numbers, and either get squat when entering 1, 2 3, etc, or it'd complain that it wasn't a number if i entered it as kano said to.

i blame windows.

try cgminer with 3.1.1 and --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100

That is what Kano was using.

The device should be AMU so it is detecting modminer?

Why? This is a scam... right?  The images were photoshoped!  Run to the hills!

Honestly, I would not let you in the next group buy for all the premature mudslinging you did...

crack during shipping?

wow, this case is stable.
this is why I have sent my GB out with plenty bubblewarp

@arklan
may we should change our signature...
"Today I have sent more ASICs than BFL ever" lol

@CanaryInTheMine
with this driver?
http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx

Yes, used the link friedcat posted somewhere on the page in the low 50ies on this thread

case seems pretty good actually, can handle some pressure for sure... but they're not "bulletproof" obviously...

bfgminer detected it but declared it sick... cgminer doesn't seem to be able to detect the asic USB?

driver was installed and rebooted.
