I have no idea how people can register accounts with names that are often encountered on the bitcointalk forum.
It's ironic, whether it's a joke or the most ridiculous thing every registrant has ever done.

Or maybe they were registered by the forum staff in order to stop scammers registering misleading account nicks (because most of them are Brand new or newbie, so this is possible)
There might have little chance to be created by forum admin. I noticed many of them looged in long time latter of their account creation. So, it might be from admin. But I also seen these accounts has not been created while the forum or category or rank created. Few of these accounts has been created last year too. But as few have been created many years ago, so few of them might be created by admin.

names are savage  Grin may be they all shill account
For the fact that the names are weird, doesnt indicate in anyway that they are shill accounts, most forum members would like to register with their real names or at least a nickname, but more often than not,due to the enormous number of entrants daily, such names had already been taken by another user, whether active or inactive.
So one just goes after a random, sometimes meaningless username in the hope that it's a free one, and If it is,why not......

With over 2,5 Million created accounts, we could likely see usernames related to any topic we choose. Under the forum related category underlined by the OP, it’s curious that someone created an account called Merit back in 2015. Little would he know just how popular it would become a few years down the road (surprisingly though, the account was already only posting in the Ann Altcoin section back then).

Chose the President’s (or similar) category for example. We’ve got: Donald Trump (that’s the complete named one; there are another 28 or so similar names with slight alterations), TheresaMay,angelamerkel, Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong-Un, etc.

Can’t create a dictionary of reserved words to exclude as usernames really ...

I think this is really something that most forums just shrug at, as long as these usernames aren't used for malicious purposes then I think it's fine. I think most forum owners only take the "admin", "administrator", "mod", "moderator" usernames just to prevent such cases. I mean, most of these usernames are mostly harmless(probably besides "Bitcointalk", and probably "Forum", that can be used to masquerade as an admin). Also noting that no one really has ownership over these usernames anyway, that you can report them that they sort of "stole" your username.

I really like that "Bitcoin" username though. Imagine all the praise you would get from the new people who think that you're the "CEO" of bitcoin LOL.

These names actually so creative! It is beyond my thinking. My favorite is the first one (i.e., "forum"). Grin Too bad that (CMIIW) many members have put this OP into their ignore list.

I guess forum do not care about account names,
I understand, what if the account often does fraud, spammers, etc., does not affect the name of the bitcointalk forum or anything else.

If should not have to be related ti the account owners real identity,
yes, there are still other names that are better, even though they are not real names, of course there are negative effects.
BT actively protects the identity of the forum members.
I hope so too, for the good name, the bitcointalk forum.
To OP: Keep your post useful and you will be rewarded nicely.
Thank you, I'm only concerned if the account is wrongly used. because it concerns the most important names.

Indeed, the name is not a guideline or the majority of each account, but the good name of the forum is also needed, not for one container or field to be used as an account name.

There is no such thing as a good name, forum username is simply a nick, and as long as it's unique and not made to be similar to that of an already registered member, then it goes.
If should not have to be related ti the account owners real identity, BT actively protects the identity of the forum members.
They are somewhat ironic, but does not warrant a thread.

Apart from it forum allow you impersonate  any famous personalities without any check.

I guess forum do not care about account names, we believe in signed messages using BTC address as proof of authenticity.

So I do not blame every individual is the right of everyone, for that there is no other name or our real name that can register on the bitcointalk forum.
Indeed, the name is not a guideline or the majority of each account, but the good name of the forum is also needed, not for one container or field to be used as an account name.
