We eventually got a response from askcoin requesting the updated source code for our wallet but it took a long time and a lot of messaging to get that response.I hope they carry out the update because they are still on the old chain.

I grabbed my "pen" and wrote another message to the support but of course there is no response and no change in the situation. I will come back with a new post if I get my coins finally. Yeah I notice the constant tweets but cant get any response from them so it looks bad alright

I think this exchange is dead. Apart from the fact that they are tweeting continuously about the market prices there is nothing happening there.

I deposited some thousands of DOGEcoin to my account but it has never arrived and of course the support hasn't reacted to my mail...

any update on the XBC market on askcoin?It is still running the old version wallet on the wrong chain.If anyone sends their coins there or from they will lose them.This is going to cause an issue with askcoin and anyone who loses their coins there because XBC have been in contact many times and got no response so the ball is in their side of the court.We need that wallet updated to latest version without further delay folks.If you have updated and any problem still exists just let us know and we will have someone try to help you fix it.

Hi can you confirm whether you have changed to the latest version wallet and chain for XBC?There was a recent change that would have required a coinswap on your exchange.If you haven't done this then coins on your exchange will not be able to send to current wallets from the exchange. https://askcoin.net/trading/XBC/BTC

I'm considering signing up, was doing some research and apart from the spam issues (see trust rating of askcoin2) I came across this:
