Two years is enough to get started again and take the next step, in fact it wouldn't be hard again to continue because you have known the system. I am a full member within 3 months of constant and serious contributions, so I think you could have reached higher than keeps on requesting for you to get unban.
While you move on, have it as a ringing alert to avoid plagiarism at all cost, its not compulsory for you to type under pressure, relax tour mind and contribute from your perspective view of something, try to be real and of course merits will find its way to you.

You do realize that ban evasion is not allowed on this forum? Meaning you're not supposed to make a new account and "get started again", once you're banned.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen. Just saying it's not allowed.

....I apologize (and am embarrassed) for my past plagiarism and ask if I may be granted a second chance to have my account unlocked...
Hous26
If you get a second chance from a mod of the permanent ban, everyone in this forum that was banned because of the plagiarism will also ask the same way, asking for a second chance. So, what is the significance of a permanent ban? In this case, the rule is a rule, once you break the rule, you must get the punishment. I do not want to blame you, but it is better to forget your account.

As what some members have told you if you said that:
....Aside from that isolated incidence, I was a good poster, contributed to the Bitcointalk community and always tried to help users take extra measures to keep their wallets secure.....
I am so sorry, I am also not that good as a member here, not also a very good poster. But seeing on your posts history, I don't think that you are a good poster here, sorry to say that.
I have seen your post story, until the 10th pages of yours.
You may make some good posts. But in fact, most of your posts are one-liner, shitpostings, replies with pyramid style more than 4, your reports of bounty participation.

So, it is better to read what have been said by the members here. None to do with your old account here.

Oh, sorry. It really looks stupid from my side. I did not pay attention to the nickname from another forum. Yes, that was your message. The only bad thing is that there was no link there yet. But it wouldn't matter here. I agree.
Okay, I give up. I did not find any other plagiarism there.
I'm sorry .

I stupidly copied another user's comment for an airdrop two years ago.  Aside from that isolated incidence, I was a good poster, contributed to the Bitcointalk community and always tried to help users take extra measures to keep their wallets secure.

It is refreshing to see that no one here has ever made a mistake before.    Tongue

I made a single (really dumb) mistake well over two years ago and have paid the consequences.

You are not entirely honest with the assumption that this was your only plagiarism.
I think you are wrong.
I took the time to check your posts, I won't say it was fun. But something was found.

DeepOnion is built on the TOR-Network.  The TOR-Network adds anonymity to your browsing by hiding or altering your IP Address.  When you use DeepOnion you are supporting the TOR-Network.  DeepOnion is going to increase their privacy with the upcoming DeepSend feature which is similar to ZeroCoin's private send.  This is recognized as the best way to privately send crypto by many but not implemented in any current coins that I know of.  You will pay a small fee for the DeepSend feature but the end result is that your wallet ID will not be displayed to anyone on the network (nor will the IP because... TOR-Network).  Even the person that receives the DeepSend transaction will not see the sender's address.  I think this will be the most effective private send feature of any coin.  DeepSend is scheduled to be released very soon.

DeepOnion also has a DeepVault feature that's already available in the wallet.  DeepVault using cryptographic hashing to imprint a documents hash value directly to the DeepOnion blockchain.  Then, anyone can scan any document purporting to be that document through the DeepOnion wallet along with the original hasher's wallet ID.  The DeepVault will interact with the DeepOnion blockchain to confirm the hash value of the document scanned is a perfect match to the hash value of the document originally uploaded.  If the slightest change is made to the document then the person scanning it will be notified that the document has been altered.  This has real world use today and noone else is using their blockchain in this manner.  Contracts, photos, music, videos can all be verified for accuracy through DeepVault today.

Then in the 2Q of 2018, DeepOnion is scheduled to release their own smart contract platform.  This is what I'm most looking forward to because they will have their own smart contract code and others can build upon it.  The possibilities are grand, such as a third party exchange built off DeepOnion's blockchain (which is on the TOR-Network).  Potentially ICO's could even be run off of it.  Who knows where it will go.

Finally, the coin is being airdropped to DeepOnion members.  Its free to join but there are requirement, such as having 100 Onions in your wallet.  That said, you can easily earn 100 Onions in a week through their bounties and DeepPoint airdrop which is similar to a bounty.  At the conclusion of the airdrops (we are on week 21 or 22 of 40 right now), vote central will be implemented which will allow "founders" of the coin to vote on the future developments.  A founder is someone who has been apart of DeepOnion's airdrops for at least 20 weeks, hodled 90% or more of the airdropped Onions and participated in the final airdrop.  alternatively, someone who doesn't meet this requirements can still be deemed a founder if they make extraordinary contributions to the community.  If you want to find out more about DeepOnion, check my signature.  There aren't any referral bonuses and I'm not required to market the coin though I do have an interest in the continued growth as a hodler.

Perhaps this is a good argument and you can now agree that your ban was deserved?

That literally is an article I authored and posted on another forum under the same user name; Hous26.  I think that demonstrates that I posted quality content though so thanks for pointing it out.

Link works fine for me.  It shows it only shows I was doing my double d's by asking the DO community to fact-check my original article before I posted it on Medium/Steemit/Bitcointalk.  I used to write articles on crypto - was paid for none.  You can still find my old articles out there.

Here is a quote of my message on the linked forum:
Quote from: hous26
I just typed up a detailed summary of why DeepOnion is special and I thought I would turn it into an article later. I think it could be a great article to share with people with technical knowledge of the blockchain and since people smarter than me are the target audience I want to ensure I'm accurately articulating what makes DeepOnion special. Here it is:

"DeepOnion is built on the TOR-Network. The TOR-Network adds anonymity to your browsing by hiding or altering your IP Address. When you use DeepOnion you are supporting the TOR-Network. Let me know what you think. I would like to brush up on the technical details of DeepSend and maybe reword some stuff about DeepVault's "hash value".

Any chance mods?

Whilst it's true by the rules that you're not supposed to have another account once banned this isn't really enforced, at least at an admin level, so if you don't link the accounts together somehow and the community doesn't find out and report you nobody will likely know. Thousands of people are probably ban evading this way.

I made a single (really dumb) mistake well over two years ago and have paid the consequences.  Not once have I denied or played dumb about the infraction, nor have I ever slandered anyone associated with it.  I can only proffer that the lesson was learned and, if permitted to post outside of this forum, I will be a model poster.

If mods will forgive every banned account here, banning would become useless. In short, we should pay for our consequence. It is also guide as a warn for every user that we have to abide to the rules imposed in this forum. Because regrets are always at the end. The forum is strongly prohibited plagiarism and spamming. It will give us a banned consequence for the entire life. If you want to work and share in this forum, try to make a new but I think it will lead to a ban evasion. It just a lesson for all of us that we should not play against the rule. Even we don`t want the condition for you OP still we can`t do about it anymore. Let see what moderators can do to your banned account sir.

Sometime i think that Plagiarism ban maybe lifted after 1 or 2 years because it will be a good period for anyone to learn from his mistake. People do change for good. That's a suggestion and not related to the OP post here.

No @99.99% guarantee. In very rare case, plagiarist has not been banned or have been banned for displaying signature only. I can not see anything good on your profile, you are no special person, you are not who contributed to the forum a lot. So, forget about writing in this forum anymore.

It so sad to read posts like this. The mods decision is only fair to all. Permban appeals had never granted of lifting the ban. It has been two years so I guess that is enough time to accept and move on.

Thanks for understanding.  I'm not actually permitted to create/use this account in other parts of the forum. Trust me, lesson has been learned the hard way!

Learn from my mistakes and take nothing for granted!
That would be alright OP to learn from mistake. No one is perfect by the way but the Mods here are only just doing their job. No one can decide to lift your ban except theymos since he is the one managing the forum.

Lifting the ban is almost impossible to happen. I guess you need to close this issue regarding with your ban and join other cryptocurrency forum. You can do a quick search in google for this. However, Bitcointalk forum is the only forum created by Satoshi for cryptocurrency discussion and way better compared to other forum.

I've got no interest in arguing with anyone so I'm just going to ignore the nonconstructive feedback.  If you don't want to help me then I ask that you just leave me be and let the mods make a ruling.

You're just a plagiarising shitposter like thousands of others. According to the unofficial rules you need to be at least a plagiarising account buyer or ICO-bumping account farmer to deserve a pardon.

not do it at all

Sounds like a plan.

I'll address one issue because its drawn a lot of attention.  I went through a phase where I did a lot of bounties.  That activity was done in the proper forum and was completely acceptable at the time.  Do I regret it?  No.  Will I apologize for it?  No.  Do I plan on doing them again?  No.  I'm not asking for my account back to do bounties because frankly I don't have any interest in bounties and, even if I did, I wouldn't need my account to do them.  I simply want to participate in discussions on the few cryptos I'm interested in [BTC, ETH, ADA, ONION] and I want to do it the right way or not do it at all.

I'm going to disagree with your dismissive characterization of my post history.  All of my posts were on-topic and kept the conversation going.  I admit to the offense I was banned for and stood by for 2-years before asking for a second chance here.
How else are people supposed to prove what you said?
You claim that you were a good poster and contributed to the bitcointalk community but your post history says otherwise

If I am not eligible for a second chance then what do I have to do to prove I can contribute to the forum?
Nothing.

Are you sure you are a "good poster, contributed to the Bitcointalk community" ? Tons of bounty reports among your posts. Dont cheat yourself. If you were really a good poster, you could have silently create another account and rank-up till full member.

Kept the conversation going? If you mean bumping a thread or flooding the thread with spam then you are doing a good job. But if you mean actually conversing with people to the topic at hand I see no evidence that this is going on as you don't even reply back to the topics here. Your post history is filled up with trash or updates in the bounty campaigns you are participating in and that's a general summary of your post history. I don't see how this can be counted as a "contribution" to the forum when you aren't really contributing in the forum at all.
