Hi all!
Many thanks to alganonim for providing the blockchain snapshot.
I ran it through IQUIDUS and here are some screenshots:
I'll keep the block explorer for a few days if anyone is interested:

So yes, the coin is pretty much dead. The new dev did not do much to keep it alive, unfortunately.
Also it is very centralized, just look at the two top addresses having 20% each.
But it was fun before, I remember mining it.
Perhaps somebody is interested in re-launching it? Or just rolling back to the day before premine was moved by original developer and starting from there. "Community re-takeover" of some sort. If interested, please PM me or write here.
I mean it cannot be much worse than it is now, anyways.
This coin has listing in yobit, that's pretty cool.
It also has a good name and good source code.

Can somebody provide some nodes to sync? My wallet is stuck at block 0.
I can see that Yobit is still trading this coin (https://yobit.net/en/trade/ASN/BTC), so it must be still alive.
There haven't been any posts in this thread in a while, is anybody still interested?

I do not have good news for you, the coin is dead for a long time. I also have some ASN on wallet, the network is disabled

For anyone is still holding the coin, CryptoBE will be removing the Ascension block explorer within 30 days. If someone wants to offer to pay a small hosting fee to keep it up for one more year, please PM me.

Hey I just bought new pc and try to download blockchain, but my wallet doesn´t connect, but on my old desktop I have 2 connections and staking goes well, where is the problem? There isn´t any conf file with nodes on my old pc. Old one has win7 and new is win10.
Strange. I doubt it can come from the OS. Did you try to add a configuration file to the new one ? That might help you. To know which peers to add just look at which ones you managed to reach on your Windows 7 computer. If you still have the problem, we'll look further into it

At least I recognise some well-known names. As you, I have a pile of ASN, but I'm not staking them, to let you users win more . Future isn't clear but at least the network seems not too weak.
