Dev, could you contact some other Block Explorer provider? Having 2 or even 3 block explorers is a must for a coin with good reputation, which I hope Ascension is going to be soon.
For example https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ is probably one of the best block explorers out there.

We're doing a NON-mandatory update to add a checkpoint at block 8300. The daemons for the seed-nodes are being recompiled now. New compiled binaries will be incoming later today. This is not a mandatory update.
