Cool...lets start a guess on pricing

I say 110 usd retail, but due to demand there could very well be ridiculous markup's on these.

What do you others here think?

Computex Taipei

And using Windows, maybe that is why they are not using all slots...
representative told that they are working with amd to solve the windows limitation to 8 GPU. release date is on JULY

I was thinking might be AMD chipset... I doubt would be LGA 1150-51

From what I heard their demo motherboard burned and was removed from Computex. Not a good start as its only the first day of Computex.

Wtf, they are at computex showing off it's 13 PCIE potential, yet they don't fill up the PCIE slots? Someone needs to get fired...

Because they used windows instead linux, and on windows you can't work without mod os (why do that?)
Don't tell me why they didn't used linux instead and run all 13 (then they need also extra power and there aren't 2kw psu, you need to use 2 then more complex)

Anyway this card it is only for miner and it is a shit not show with right setup (linux / dual psu)

not true, you can mod windows to ahve it support more than 8, i'm sure it's possible, and you have the 2k psu by superflow, you can use that, it will handle 13 gpu easily, with future gpu that consume less than today gpu i think the corsair 1500watt might be enough

good pictures, I want to be there too..  Smiley

I hope that some solution will be made for mining with 8+ GPU on Windows.

Windows driver doesn't support more than 8 AMD, although they could probably have used 5 NV + 8 AMD

One can modify these Wink

this what i mean, i think they will modify it to suprass the limit on windows and have you plug and play 13 gpu, they are not stupid to sell a board that advertise 13 gpu but then you can put 8 only

Damn... I want 15 of these, stat!

Pretty sure windows will be limited to 8 gpus, anything more will require Linux.

Good job, Asrock.

i guess they will find a way to setup a special bios in this motherboard to allow windows to recognize ore than 8 gpu, otherwise what the point of 13 pcie slot?, this board is aiming at windows uers
