Im running 2 rigs with the Asus B250 Mining Expert. One with the G3920 and the other G3930. They were both running fine on 4gb ram PC2133 but I went ahead a stuck another 4GB ram in the other slot of each board for a total of 8Gb per motherboard. I use 120gb ssd for each rig. Currently have 10 Nvidia Gpu's on rig 2. 7 amd and 2 Nvidia on the Rig 1. Win 10 pro updated to 1709. Bios ver 1001. Currently running nicehash.
Was having problems with 13x 1070ti rig on SMOS. Troubleshooting all day. Replaced risers, lowered overclock. Read this post and thought I'd try swapping a G4400 for an i5 7500. No Difference. Tried adding 8GB of RAM instead of 4. No difference made. Still would error or cpu would lock 180 s reboot if I added more than 10 gpus on. Tried HiveOS.... up and hashing all 13 cards in under 30 min. Unbelievable, and I'm back to my original setup minus the SMOS: HiveOS, Pentium G4400, 4 GB Gskill RAM, Asrock h110 pro, 13x EVGA 1070ti black, OC 200 core, 700 mem. 
Keep in mind that you cannot run more than 6 GPU-s with only 4GB of DDR4 ram, for 12 or more you need at least 8GB of ram. Do not forget also to change virtual memory to 17000 and 34000 MB in advanced system settings, above 4g enabled and all PCIEX set to GEN1.
This is the perfect configuration in any specific mining board like this one ASROCK H110+ PRO BTC.
Do not forget to update BIOS of mobo to latest version as well.
1. You do not need more than 4gb of RAM. The 12 card 1070 rig I was speaking of earlier has 4GB of RAM.
2. Adjusting virtual memory means you are running Windows. If you want to run setups with 12 or more of the same cards Windows is not even an option. As a general rule you shouldnt be mining with Windows anyway. The point of mining is to maximize uptime, which linux can do a thousand times better than Windows.

You did well. Having a bit of more horse power under the hood can never hurt especially when the price difference between these 2 processors is a mere 15 EUR.

I have this MOBO + G4600 with it and im happy with it.
Most of my others setups are with G3930 or G3900 and it works most of the times, but it hits near 100% on some algos.
For the future i think ill buy little bit more powerful ones.

They nearly tap out the cpu maximum threshold.
Don't know if the G4400 or G4600 series of chips do this as well.

for hd, do you think it's better to have a ssd?
For better storage using SSD, their use will be felt when first setting up the GPU and prompting you to restart the computer. Because SSD one of them has Speed 8x faster than on HDD. SSD (the resulting heat temperature is not as hot as HDD, power consumption is very small, no motor rotation and discs that make SDD not noisy).
HDD (heat temperature, high power consumption, motor rotation and disk cause high noise).
and I suggest for brand SSD is Samsung.

If the mining rig is only a mining rig, the shittiest celeron and 4gb of ram will be enough. If you will run stacking wallets and other stuff then it may start to get slow. I'm mining burst with HDDs and having a celeron makes the ethereum hashrate go a bit lower every 5 minutes or so when burst is mining. But if you only mine with it it's plenty of power, it will just take a bit longer to install windows.
Cpu has nothing to do with mining even with 13 GPUs.

I have the cpu "G3900" with a non ssd hd with 7 gpu and work fine
I think the problem is not in the processor, Celeron G3900 enough. But you need 8gb ram or may be more, to my knowledge.
